You Just Know You Found A Good One
On the 20th May 2024, I called about a Mercedes E400, Autotrader add really made me look, the photos looked amazing. I was expected in 90 minutes. I was greeted by name.
I was shown to the vehicle by a nice young man. The car was more stunning in person. I had no idea what i was looking at, but I had it's baby brother recently the SLK 350. This one was dripping in toys and safety, as well as a prize under the bonnet.
I was trying to hide my excitement. Test drive was next, and another young man who also owned one E200. This made the trip more informative. I don't think learning a strange car in heavy traffic is wise, nor do I like doing it. However both the car and my copilot where great. I am now fully in love and the car is leaving with me.
This Is where the company stepped up for me, and it was a natural response. I can't thank them enough.
I am disabled, the weekend before I picked up a Z4, four times I asked is it was in perfect working order. 120 checklist, full service, mot, blah!
Saturday 27c Melksham to Poole, train strikes. 4.5hrs.
Car met me at station, 10 miles and miffed mice are reflected off the house.
20 miles and gear box mode button x3 failed
94 miles half glass of oil thrown on the road, over the hot exhaust. Computer has 38 codes for every sensor.
I take it back to them. Dealer says bmw are bent, biggest sham artists in the business, why he left. My mechanic is useless, as is the Rac.
That Monday a storm came and stayed. I handed over the car as 3 people advised,keys, docs, tried to explain what was wrong.
“We are not mechanics here, it will get fixed.” I was told a week Tuesday. But it was up for sale the next day.
No V5 was purchased, but money kept 15 days.
Kicked me out into the rain, not feeling well. App, verified, pickup 35 minutes. Took me to the wrong station. It all went to hell from then! app failed, humans fail, just bad luck. I ended up in Woking, Basingstoke, Salisbury, Westbury with another 68 min wait. 1200 to 2020… I was hanging by this time. Trowbridge was next I knew I could get a taxie. But i had a 2 mile walk i hurt myself, home was 2135.
I didn't know I was talking to the partner in the company. About this, he found my story a discussing way to behave.
Cars are complex machines, things let go, break at odd time. You “do not” shout and scream at people, trying to help you.
You will be helped.
However untrue, misinformation and being difficult, demanding you put yourself in danger, is signs of a bad company. They took no responsibility for well over 5 faults, and over £2000.00 in fixes. They hadn't even looked at the computers. After stating its a rolling computer, thus making my point.
Back to Bristol Motor village.
I asked if I could be picked up from the last place I wanted to go… train station.
The young man would have heard my story.
Rushing off he came back and said if you buy it we will drive it home for me, could I drive their driver back.
I was so happy, I managed to get my own car, get it home, and own and drive it in the same day.
I didn't find my dream car, I don't have one. What I did get was a great garage, a wonderful experience I enjoyed greatly.
This company is owned by two families, and they want you to get the car you want. Unfortunately things happen… These guys know this, try very hard to pick great examples, they fail they are able to help.
They are not going anywhere, so do not be ruded out of ignorance or fear, they will sort it out, they are not out to lose there name over your little issues. So be fair, understanding and flexible. You aren't the only human or customer.
Zack is awesome, his team are great fun. They are trustworthy because they fort hard to survive covid, companies name is everything and their boys are being trained to take over. I look forward to seeing their Empire grow.
In one week I have seen the worst, and the best. so I feel adequately schooled to offer my opinion on how good or bad a car dealer can be.
I will gladly use this company again.i wish them every opportunity to grow.

Exceptional Service Outstanding Customer Service And Car
I purchased my bmw 1 series in may. I’ve waited till the warranty has ran out before writing my review. I am probably one of the hardest people to please, when it comes to buying a car. From my horrendous experience with 4 vehicles in the past. So I’m fussy, clued up and very sceptical. I have to say motor village have been nothing but a breath of fresh air to me. Yes, there has been some issues with the vehicle. I have to say motor village sorted every time, without delay, or fail. Even refunded me for sprayed wheels I had had done, due to faulty paint. I have to say it’s been a pleasure purchasing this car and having things sorted out very quickly and promptly. Kept to their word and sell very nice cars. Thank you for being genuine and keeping your word and selling me a vehicle fit for purpose. Been great experience for me and one I won’t forget as I can’t lie I expected the worst. Far from it from these guys a really good reputable friendly team and service. Big thank you from me and an even bigger solute to you and the team.

I recently purchased my lovely Shogun from Motor Village and I cannot recommend them more highly. They have some wonderful cars for sale and I am so grateful I found them. They are trustworthy and go all out to do all they can for you. Without their total understanding of my difficult situation and their help and kindness I wouldn't have my car now. They are totally professional, very knowledgeable and accommodating and I can totally recommend them to anyone.

Poor After Service
I purchased a Audi Q7 from them registration OV14 RMO, when i recieved the car purchased at 18200 gbp there was no Service book or Manual and no parcel shelf cover, i complained and they sent me a wheel and a door actuater then after i had left the country they sent the poor quality cover. After 3 weeks in the Pyrenees the brakes failed (pedal to floor), it was very scary, again i complained and they wanted me to take it to a back street garage. I insisted on going to Audi , which i did and paid the bill myself, i lost the car for 3 days and had to hire a car but got the car back and all was good. After 7 weeks again the brakes failed (again pedal to floor) in Northern France, i also had 5 times no throttle response whilst driving which i reported.
They wanted me to drive the car to Audi but i said sorry no, i want a refund, they ignored me for a few days but eventually offered me 16500 gbp a loss of over 2000 gbp. I was not in a postion where i could not accept the offer as returning to Spain in 3 days without a car.
Really Really Disappointed, hope the new owner takes great care with this car.

Totally Amazing Experiance... Truely Excellant Car 370z Auto
This is the first time my wife and myself have experienced such brilliant service from a car dealer. we are habitual petrol heads and regularly change our vehicle and prefer vehicles which offer luxury and performance. we have never used this garage before but on our arrival we were made to feel welcome as if we had been dealing with them for years.
The person who had initially greeted us on our arrival (director of the company not that we knew) advised us that we could look around in our own pace without any pressure at all.
we were impressed with the selection and presentation of the vehicles on display.
all were spotless and well spaced for viewing.
We selected several cars after out initial browsing.
Our test drive proved faultless and on our return were offered further test drives if we required them in the other vehicles we selected.
This was not needed as we had fallen in love with our 370z in rare blue and fully loaded even having air conditioned seats.....Amazing.
we were welcomed into the office and offered proper coffee and met Zac and Allen (both highly professional people with vast experience).
We finalised our deal and have been totally happy with the purchase.
We can honestly say in the 30 years of buying cars we have never had such brilliant service.
Genuinely nothing is too much trouble for the team at Motor-Village.

All you want to know when you buy a second hand vehicule is that the seller won't let you down if you come across some issues after driving it back home. Well that happened to me after a month and they were helpful, professional and repaired what needed fixing with a smile.
These guys want their customers to be happy... and that's exactly how I feel.
