Used Mokka
I dealt with Will Farrar, a very affable young man. I took the car for a decent length test drive on dual carriage ways unlike some dealers who only wanted to take you around the block. Will sorted the couple of minor issues i highlighted on the car and the deal was done.
I paid more than I'd initially intended but feel I got better value for my money than some of the lower priced vehicles at independent dealers and so far so good I'm happy with my choice of car and dealer.

New Grandland X
Was served by Will, lovely young man, polite and informative. Kept in touch throughout the buying process andcame in the day I collected my car, even though it was his day off. Pleasure to deal with.
Used Car Sales Team Are Con-merchants Just Chasing Comission
I had the misfortune to buy a range rover from the used car team at Perry's Doncaster. The salesman was more than happy to give me a tour of the car and a short test drive. The day after purchasing the car the engine management light came on. I called Perry's Doncaster to notify them of the problem and have them take a look at it, I spoke to salesman I originally dealt with who passed me on to the sales manager.
It was explained that I would have to pay a diagnostic fee to find the fault but they would not do any repairs under warranty. I was set a back and explained that I had only purchased the car the previous day but was still met with the same response. unhappy with the after sales service I booked the car in at a local landrover specialist who informed me that the cylinder head had gone + 2x lambda sensors, but the best part was Perry's had known about the problem as one of their code reading tools had been left in the cars diagnostic port? I called Perry's straight away to confront them but was spoken to rudely by the sales manager who had a "like it or lump it" attitude, no apology was given or any attempt made to rectify the problems. needless to say it was an expensive lesson and I have spoken to many customers of the Doncaster branch who have had similar bad experiences.

Bought A Used Car From Perrys Vauxhall About A Mon
Bought a used car from Perrys Vauxhall about a month ago which has now developed some problems, one of which I pointed out at the time when I took it for a test drive and they said they would fix this. It was the brakes, they seemed to be scratching rather a bit but I put that down to it being sat on their forecourt for a while. They haven't fixed it. Been trying to call them for a couple days now, every time it's always 'such and such a person is not available or with a customer, will get them to call you back' and guess what... not had a single call back. Called 5 times today already!
They were quite helpful when I was looking to make a purchase but as what is usually the case, once they have your money they don't care anymore.

I Guess You Expect Main Dealers To Be Expensive, B
I guess you expect Main Dealers to be expensive, but to me it seems far too high!
£368 initially quoted for the replacement of a N/S/F Suspension Lower Ball Joint on a Peugeot 407.
The price came down to £187 + £48 for diagnosis after I suggested it was a bit high!! So that's a £134 saving, this seems better but still unfair to try to charge £134 more than what is still a high repair cost (£234) as I had the repair done at my local trusty garage for less than half the price, £116 all in!
Is main dealer service and the supply of a courtesy car really worth double the price of a resonable garage I ask you??
