Simply- Don't Do It... Much Better Dealers Out There
Member of staff that "helped" me, and I do use helped very loosely here was the person I dealt with . My only recommendation is walk away and find more honest dealership- they do exist but these guys are definitely not it... sold me the car not fit for purpose and I was silly enough not to double check. Fair enough, my bad for not double checking but I don't go to dealerships expecting to be missold a car. Will know better for the future.

A Fantastic Experience
If you are thinking of buying a high spec car at a very reasonable price, go to Rix motors. They don't only sell you a car, they sell you a fantastic experience. No hard sell, honest, excellent professional welcoming and friendly staff. The customer service after care is excellent. Always on hand, easy to speak to, understand what you want and deliver it. Go to Rix motors first, everywhere else will be an anti-climax.

Very Professional, No Pressure, And Good Value Vehicles
I bought a 3 year old BMW 3 Series tourer from Rix in January 2016.
The service I got was very good, without any pressure to "buy now".
All the staff at Rix were most helpful and friendly, - even Mr Rix himself spoke to me to assure me of a good deal. The showroom / sales office is comfortable and the coffee was unlimited.
The car was exactly the spec I wanted (which is why I went to view it, of course) and it was very well prepared for sale - Clean, polished, and new number plates fitted. I was offered an immediate test drive of the car I was interested in.
The price I paid was competitive for the model, year, mileage, and condition. Paying for and collecting the car 2 days later was a 10 minute task with no problems.
Excellent experience overall, and I would certainly recommend Rix Motor company to others looking for a quality car at a competitive price.

Fixed Motors
What do I think about rix motors?? Well pretty straight forward really, SHOCKING!! my partner purchased a 7 series BMW from them 3years ago, we went in one day to look at the car and was practically rushed into buying (our own fault for trusting them) when we took the car for a test drive the tyres was barely legal and was promised they would be changed when we picked up, not the case. Along with a couple other faults. The day we got the car they couldn't have been any more helpful, we left the garage and as you do with new cars you take it 'for a spin' whilst doing so a light came up on telling us to turn the engine off, low pressure-the tyres hadn't been changed as promised, 4 weeks of ringing to get this fixed the person I dealt with himself decided to get us in and have one of the salesmans cars to use whilst our car was being done. At this point I'd given birth to our son, so it was important to get this fixed. Anyway, 5 months later we was coming back from Manchester on the motor way and the car started smoking, it was on fire, we had our little baby boy with us.. The fear was unbelievable there was black smoke coming through to the interior, we had to pull over in a live lane and I had to get my baby to safety, I managed to pull over a a lorry and get his extinguisher before the car blew!! Needless to say the car was written off, it needs a engine rebuild, after the fire engine, ambulance, police all came to our rescue I had to take my son to hospital because of the smoke getting on his young lungs. The day after I went into Rix motors to speak with someone, no one was interested, as far as they was concerned they had done their bit by taking our money, we asked to speak to he person I dealt with himself.. Unfortunately he was too busy bidding for cars on an auction site, absolute waste of space. Since this incident I have read many forums and seen horrifying results.. Someone had the same experience as us, only they was on their way back from buying the car. I beg anyone who is reading this to do your research on this company and please stay away, for your own safety and more so don't waste your money.
I am sorry that this is an on going issue for you. I took time to speak with you the day after the incident. I understand anyone whose has experienced such an event on the motorway with family on board would be horrified.
The poor service received regarding the tyres should not have happened or taken that long to resolve. The sales person involved fell short of our expectations as well as yours. I am glad that it got resolved for you.
The Incident on the motorway only 6months after purchase, although it wasn't due to mechanical failure It was unfortunate to have picked up flammable debris on the motorway that attached to your exhaust system. It was a situation that was completely un-preventable.

False Deal Wasted My Time
After numerous calls to Rix (and many return calls that never materialised) I was lead to believe a deal for PX of my car was 90% agreed. After 2hr drive and 100+ miles, they offered £2400 less than previously spoken of! Apparently the the person I had been liaising with all the times before was 'just a salesman' and was not able to make deals like that. 4.5 hours and £40 fuel later, I've wasted my day. Not impressed.

Don't Buy From This Garage
Bought a car from Rix motors in Warrington as they seemed really good to deal with and helpful whilst buying. We got a one month warranty- not worth the paper it was written on. Got it home to find the suspension (air bag type was not working- leaks on both sides- the car looked fine after the engine had been running but the back end went down after it was parked up for a short time). We travelled from away to view the car and were asked to ring the garage when we were nearly there so they could have a cup of tea ready for us!! . We tried to contact the garage about the problem to see how we could get it mended under the warranty but they failed to return our calls for two days leaving us no choice but to take the car to a garage to get it fixed at a cost of £485 (very different to when we were thinking of going to view the car- they were never off the phone!!) We needed to make a long journey two days later so we had to take the initiative to do so. They will now only pay half the repair bill as they say they would have told us to take it to a cheaper garage- as only £60 of this bill was for labour, the rest was for parts this seems ridiculous. We also discovered a large scrape on the roof of the car as soon as we got it home but they say this was not there when we bought the car so will not do anything about that either!! They claim to give all their cars a thorough 'going over' before they are sold- with two fairly obvious problems I do question this!! Other things promised ie petrol in the car when picked up and a number plate for our caravan also never materialised- they promise the earth while you are negotiating but they are terrible to deal with once the deal is done- my advice would be to steer well clear of Rix Motors.
