Absolute cowboys who have mysteriously vanished although may still be trading from a different address as SCB Cars Limited - buy at your own risk.

Our car developed a fault within two weeks and getting the repair completed under warranty has been nothing short of impossible. I have reported to trading standards and will be taking to the small claims court to recover my costs.

I have had exactly the same problem, I have even gone through the courts and won a CCJ against them. They still have not paid saying that it was another company. This has been thrown out by the court and I am now waiting to see the response from the bailiffs.

I Had A Number Of Faults With My Car Just Four Day

I had a number of faults with my car just four days after purchasing it from Specialist Cars Bristol and the people who sold me the car were totally inactive in arranging the repairs. The failed to return all but one phone call when they had promised to get in touch and were false with their information. In their own warranty given to every customer they state that they will pay up to £250 per fault. I had two seperate faults yet they were only willing to pay £400 for the work leaving me to pay £45 to make up the difference. I would have liked to know the garages that they use for their work as it may have been quicker for me to get in touch with them instead of waiting!

I found this review very helpful because... I had exactly the same experience with a warranty claim but the company now appear to have vanished. Unfortunately I bought the vehicle a week before this review was posted.
