I own a Range Rover Evoque 3 years 6 months old I love the car but have a terrible noise when reversing especially 1st thing in a morning or if its stood for hours. My car was in several months ago for a service I asked them to investigate the noise, I was told something needed replacing (under warranty) and I would be contacted once the part was in and the car could be booked in. Months have passed and I have spoken to reception on occasions who put me on hold to speak to service. The same message always " he is busy at the minute will call you back" it is a joke because I have had no response. I have been a loyal customer who has bought and paid for my cars on collection so what is going wrong is it a case of unless you lease you are ignored. I repeat this fault was months ago when I was in warranty. Please at least acknowledge this review.

Simply The Best Garage I Have Ever Dealt With!
We have been dealing with Landrover Doncaster garage for a few years now and can not recommend them enough. Nothing is ever too much trouble and all of the staff we have dealt with are very friendly and certainly helpfull. I look forward to buying another car from them in the future if they continue to go the extra mile as they have done to date.
Our warranty issues are always taken seriously and the quality of service work is completed in a timely manner and no evidence of poor workmanship. On collection the care is always cleaner than dropped off and handed back in a ery friendly manner.
The sales team (dealt with 2 of them now) are not at all pushy and more than happy to either answer questions or let you simply get on with it in peace!
Like all garages, do not expect a great part ex. valuation.

Obnoxious And Arrogant
I can only comment on them from my telephone dealings. Called to chat about used Range Rovers and to arrange a test of one they currently have in stock. The Sales Manager was very helpful and accommodating. I was then passed on to Frankie and it all went downhill. Three phone calls in three days in advance of the test drive to take details of our trade in did strike me as a little premature and this culminated with a call two days before we were due to visit to tell us how much our trade in was worth. I pointed out that we hadn't even driven one yet, let alone agreed to buy it so it was a little early to start discussing and negotiating what he thought our trade in was worth.
I politely informed him that i'd prefer to take it one step at a time, drive it and then agree a price for it and the trade in. Frankie then proceeded to tell me not to bother visiting if we expect any movement in the price of the vehicle! Obnoxious, bullying and arrogant and not somebody I'd ever do business with. I informed him that if he'd rather we didn't bother coming then we'll purchase from someone else.
Frankie needs to learn some people skills!

I have purchase a Discovery 3 from Land Rover Doncaster. The whole service was a fantastic experience. The vehicle was well prepare for its age and I have fallen in love with it.
The whole sales team have supplied an excellent service and have supplied exactly what they have promised.
CI would recommend this dealership to anyone looking a buying a Land rover.

Very Poor Customer Service
Purchased a Land Rover Disco 3 from this dealer. On delivery it had dents / scratches and chips on the windscreen. Apparently it had been checked out in the garages body shop and went through the relevant checks prior to delivery.
Am now dealing with this company and finding them particularly obstructive. I would advise purchasing elsewhere. My complaint is now being escalated to head office as the garage don't seem bothered.

Keep Away From Frankie
Went to buy a car from this dealer and was greeted by a sale man (if thats what you could call him) Frankie, whilst I was explaining what I was looking for he seemed more interested in the other customer looking round the forecourt, he was constantly looking at what they were doing rather than listening to what I was saying. Frankie was very in-personal and needs to learn some customer skills and listen to the customer thats talking to him rather than looking elsewhere. When I spoke to Frankie about my part exchange he was damn right rude about it and not what I expected from such a dealership. All in all a very bad experience with this particular so called salesman and I've ended up placing my order for 2 new freelanders for Sept delivery with their competitors. Very disappointing as I live on the doorstep of this dealership but will not even be using them for servicing due to Frankies obnoxiousness, rude and arrogant manner.

bought a discovery 3 08 modile in December cost £17,000 developed a fuel leak on water censor in april,car still under warrenty took it in may 7th then told that warrenty did not cover this item,after spending that much money on a car you would think they would do the decent thing and repair it but no.also got tyre cover which came through with wrong registration details on after several telephone calls still not received proper documents I will defanately not recommend this company to anyone very poor service indeed go elsewhere you will be treated better they only want your money after that your on your own.
Poor Service And Experience Buying From This Dealership
I purchased a range rover sport on 31.12.12 the experience was not pleasant due to sales team complaining of the £6600 deposit and stated they preferred electronic transfer.
The sales team team did not return my telephone calls ( total 7) I had some queries over the address book function so I decided to email the team again again there was no response!
I went to pick up the car as prearranged it was not prepared or had any fuel and I was left waiting for 1.5 hours .
I had to return the car twice in 2 weeks for minor repairs which could have resolved including the address book if the phone calls and emails had been responded to.
I was inconvenienced by travelling from Hull to Doncaster and had to take time off from work on my last visit to Stratstone Doncaster I was asked for the tax disc off the range rover due to the private registration transfer coming through from the previous owner leaving me without road tax. I was never informed the road tax would be taken off the car the communication from Stratstone was poor I queried this with a sales person who stated he had told me he had mentioned the road tax .
I was fuming and logged a complaint with the dealership the sales person called frankie was basically covering himself and accused me of lying.
I was offered £100 compensation
I have has better service from motor depot
DON'T BUY FROM HERE !!!

They Don't Even Ring Back Before A Car Is Bought!
All of these bad reviews are quite worrying. I am in the process of buying a car but cannot get a salesman to ring me back. The receptionists say they will get them to ring back but they don't. I don't know what is happening at the moment.
Don't they want any business?
I'm thinking of looking elsewhere now
