I Pudchased A Bmw For 5 Thousand Pound From Carsto
i pudchased a bmw for 5 thousand pound from carstore, within 5 minates of driving it off the forecourt it started to misfire the engine managment light come on and the water light come on, i took it straight back and they pluged it into a diagnostic and told me the car was fine it had been sitting idle for a long time so it needed a blast and to come back if there was any problems, within a couple of days the electric mirrors failed and i noticed the suspension was faulty, 3 months on the car has been in to the garage 4 times and not a singhle fault has bedn solved, he has assured me the car was serviced but the spark plugs needed chenging the tyres were bald and needs new brakes, he has also assured me he has changed the shocks but the shocks are clearly not new and the problem persists, the warranty is now up and i'm left paying finance on a car that is riddled with faults and will cost hundreds of pounds to solve, the car has not been road worthy since day one, he has provided very poor after sales and i feel i have been ripped off, everytime i contact him, he tells me a load of rubbish and makes me feel like i am a nag and is very impatient, in my opinion businesses like carsptore should have their trading licence removdd

Do Not Buy
Bought car in Sep 2015.
There was no oil in the car, it was brown and the oil cap on the engine had all congealed together.
I had the handbrake fail, car rolled down hill, luckily no-one was hurt.
Bald tyre on car.
Front brakes went within 3 months. Need to replace discs and pads at my own expense due to 'wear and tear'.
All problems were fixed under warranty but they shouldn't have been there in the first place.
Only replies to select emails and doesn't contact back if you phone and leave a message.
Like myself, you were an unfortunate buyer who failed to checked on here prior to buying a car from Carstore. But even if did look, with the three 'OBVIOUSLY FAKE,' below reviews you may have overlooked the truthful reviews. (Can tell that they are fake from some of the similar wording & when these reviews happened to appear. Written just after my strong, truthful review? Tut, tut, Carstore). The Carstore is known to Trading Standards & the law courts, but is still operating, under the same poor & dangerous standards as before??

Buy Local Is Best
Have purchased 2 cars from the business since moving into the area. First car was a Corsa which gave me 3 years of trouble free driving and was in excellent condition and a good drive. The second, my current car, is a Nissen Note which I saw in passing, took for a test drive and was so impressed with condition and performance decided to change my car. Staff are most helpful at all times without being "typical" salesmen. Customer care before and after are second to none. I have and will recommend them to family and friends.

"looks After The Locals"
Just bought my 7th car from these guys, the attitude and service to their customers is second to none.I need a good quality and reliable car having to cover all the UK and some of western europe towing our racing boat to different race meetings,so a dodgy car is not at all viable,so I only deal with people I know and trust.Try them you will be pleasantly surprised.

Bought Peugeot 307, Year 2003, Had 2 Weeks, Then T
Bought Peugeot 307, year 2003, had 2 weeks, then thought was on fire. Clutch completely gone, lots of smoke and foul smelling.
Asked for exchange for another car, willing to pay extra. Wanted me to lose £500 on car price. Was given many lies before purchase, how many owners, told 2 maybe 3 couldn't remember, documents came through, I would never have purchased car with 7 SEVEN previous owners, LIES. Had car on lot for 6-8 months, paperwork states been there since 2008, makes it 3 yrs, LIES. Paperwork and told, 71,000 miles, NEW MOT certificate for car 75,557, LIES. Told me manual for car in back of seats when leaving, searched whole car, no manual! What am I to do if battery goes flat and I need to put in radio code, etc... MORE LIES.
When stated Sale of Goods Act 1979, began shouting down phone things like misprint, don't have to fix, other rubbish, etc...
Going to trading standards, then very happily taking to court. They have driven the car, same bad condition and left outside my house, unusable. Well guys they have really messed up this time, be seeing them in court where they can pay for all expenses I incur also during this time.
TAKE MY ADVICE, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE, VERY DISHONEST, HORRIBLE PEOPLE. WORSE 2ND HAND CAR DEALERS I'VE EVER MET!
If you'd had problems with them, report them, their name has already been passed to enforcement!!
Advice I can give myself and others for future. Check all paperwork and documents before handing over money to any 2nd hand dealerships, because some cars are just total dud's!
I want to help you get your money back from them. First step is you have to go to Trading Standards (Carstore is known to them from myself, possibly others?) Secondly, if no luck with Trading Standards, you are going have to sue them,, please read her attached comment to me where she was fully successful in her suing them. I had a really tough time with them, but just managed to get back my money, though I was out of pocket for other expenses & time in my fight against them. If you are going to sue them, or need any help I am happy to help as dodgy dealers cannot expect to keep doing this to innocent consumers. You would clearly have out of pocket expenses for all the grief you have had, so I would sue if I was you. Let them know you are in contact with me & Trading Standards and you will sue them. Don't think they want to go down that road again, but may be necessary. If you need my help, can you please pass on your email to me. Open email, one just to have first contact with me, then close again if you don't want anyone else (eg Carstore) to get. Happy to help!!
I got problems too, bought the car in Sep 2015, It's now Jan 2016 and it's already been back to them 4 times for repairs! I was told that it was in Excellent condition and they would get the car checked out by a mechanic and to pick it up 5 days later...nothing was done to the car at all, it wasn't even cleaned!
They claim that I got no grounds for a full refund as they have repaired the faults, except the brakes which have completely gone, as it's wear and tear it's down to me..what, after 3 months of having the car! RIP OFF. I'm now stuck with the car it seems just waiting for the next thing to go wrong with it!
Glad you got your money back but court would have been better as you'd have got all the additional expenses as well.
Good job you didn't accept part exhange (part exchange for what?)
I accepted another car and it was even worse than the first.
However I got my money back in court.
Then I bought a beautiful, clean, perfect Vauxhall Astra 1.7 (tdi) Eco 4 with 70,000 on the clock (genuine milage) for £1, 600 with Tax and MOT, new belt and exhaust.
I'd paid 'them' a thousand more for what was a pile of scrap.
The 'SO CALLED CUSTOMER' was told "PAY £500 to fix" an already faulty clutch which was known about when sold!!! Taking two journeys to Birmingham (though was just one) doesn't burn out a clutch (mostly motorway when clutch hardly used). It takes months of NEW or VERY POOR DRIVING (not over 15 years, no accidents or EVER BURNT OUT CLUTCH. Driven lots in also Europe and America). I didn't rally car in the less than two short weeks I had, only way could happen in short space. It was 'I' who asked for part exchange, wanted to take £500 still to pay for Clutch!! Later was agreeing (after chat with Trading Standards), minus £250.Getting nearer full refund!! Took many months of letters back and forth, then last moment said "I will see you in court. I will also add costs incurred, plus 8% interest". Then I was offered another refund, but minus £100, but I told them I wanted in FULL, since I'd incurred costs during this time!! If, as they are trying to claim, 'not at fault', why finally agree to FULL REFUND?? If I was at wrong, not carstore, then they should be happy to go to court and see me lose??? TRUTH BE TOLD, know they were at wrong!! Also believe this not first time in same trouble, so they couldn't risk!!! Be aware of this dealership and persistent if you unfortunately buy a COMPLETE DUD of them, same as I mistakenly did!! STOP THESE KIND OF DEALERSHIPS, GIVES ALL OF THEM, BAD NAME. If done same to you, FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS and take carstore all the way!! I didn't have too, makes you WONDER WHY DIDN'T NEED TOO!!! I will now NEVER EVER TOUCH ANOTHER PEUGEOT!! Everyone should give CARSTORE, GORSEINON A HUGE MISS, FOR THEIR OWN SAKE!!!
This so called customer !!!!!! burnt the clutch out within 2 weeks (after two trips to birmingham) we offered to replace clutch didn't want that, offered a part ex didn't want that, we ended up giving full refund. future sellers beware do not sell this person a car.

Bought A Ford Focus Diesel Est From The Carstore.
Bought a Ford Focus diesel Est from The Carstore. Only just got me home. Took it back and asked for 'like for like' exchange. Thats exactly what I got, another heap of junk and so many lies you wouldn't believe it.
Am now looking at taking them to court to get my money back plus ALL the extra it has cost me just because they sell dud cars and are dishonest.
Don't go here folks, buying blind from an auction would probably be safer!!
Course I would have liked them to tell me that it would cost over £1,500 to fix each car first, then I wouldn't have bothered.
Can't really say I was taken for a ride, the cars didn't get that far....
Carstore been up to same old tricks. I been contacted by another unfortunate Buyer. I am offering to help him or her. Is disgusting how Carstore operates. Did you see the three reviews that came after mine, written by themselves. Think he/she would be grateful to hear from you also?
