The Cherry On The Cake
I recently bought a car from these guys and am delighted with the vehicle and OK about the service. Everyone was very polite and helpful. However - I was slightly deflated when the big day arrived for me to pick up my much anticipated pride and joy. Having arranged for the time and date for the pick up, when I got there they weren't ready for me nor had they brought the car out for me to collect. This might sound silly on my part but when you're selling cars every day its easy to forget that each purchaser is excited and most often its their first car purchase for a while. They want to feel special and that the seller is "with them" in their enjoyment. Plus you might expect the seller to spend time running through the workings of the controls etc - not in my case. To be fair to the person dealing with us, they was rushed off their feet so I don't criticize them but whoever manages the staff situation might want to review these levels and service capabilities as a result ? I was made to feel welcome ( after all I was spending a fair amount of money with them ) but I could easily have been made to feel a Snows valued customer and friend with just a little more thought.
Customer feedback - not criticism.

Best Garage In Area
To good to auction - Excellent staff, friendly atmosphere and great all round service. I have recently purchased a small affordable hatch from the snow group in Southampton. Well what can I say, these guys are excellent. I have never experienced such good service and professionalism from such an excellent second hand dealership. A full years free car warranty has been included in the sale to. Luckily I took this as the car has had some acceleration issues. Within a week the car was back and inspected and repaired free of charge and I was given a courtesy car to get back home. I cannot fault this kind of service it has been the best after care I have seen from a second hand dealership. 5 stars!!

Great Value, Great Service And Highly Reccomended!!
Fantastic group of people, a great range of cars and by far the most enjoyable experience we've had buying a used car!
I went to the hedge end branch and was pleasantly surprised!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and did not pressure us at all.
When I spoke with an executive, he explained that he'd give us the keys and let us look around the car in our own time, unless we wanted him to hang around. We then went to the office and he had all the paperwork for the car out already and was completely open and honest about the car and its condition and history.
We are very happy with our BMW and, although we have had one or two little issues, there was no problem getting it sorted for us!

Bad Service
I made enquiries about a car. They said that they world ring me back in about 1hr, that was Sunday the 1st of March. Guess my money isn't good enough. Shan't bother again.
Too Good To Provide Any Kind Of Customer Service.
Too good to auction - Absolutely rubbish company.
Found a car on their web site I wanted to test drive, engaged in the "live chat", asked if the car was still available, to which I was told yes, arranged an appointment to test drive the car the next day, when I arrived it took around 10 minutes to locate a member of staff on the phone as the "office" was locked, I was told the car had been sold the previous day.
I asked them to explain why I was able to make an appointment if the car had been sold to which I received this response
" the live chat is a third party, not run by us, they just act on behalf of our company, what do you expect? "
"I expect up to date information, so I don't have a wasted 60 mile round trip, I also made an appointment to test drive the car, how can employees arrange appointments if the vehicle has been sold, why do you use a service that is not useful to your customers? "
"Well you would be better off calling us, the live chat doesn't have up to date information, what do you expect ."
At this point I gave up as clearly I wasn't going to get an apology and as my expectations hadn't been met so far, I think I might have been waiting a while to get one!
Having purchased 2 cars from Too Good to auction I can only say what great experience it was. the staff we friendly, helpful and were not pushy at all. Our 1st purchase was via a "live chat" enquiry and the salesman rang me back within 10 mins, very impressed, on arrival the car was ready to test drive and the whole sales process was very smooth. We have since purchased another car for our daughter and will be using Too Good To Auction Southampton again when our daughter needs a car. Keep up the good work.

Too Bad
Do not buy a car from Too Good to Auction. I bought a Deisel VW Polo from them in January of last year and since then I have had a number of problems with it, some wear and tear some down to sheer neglegence. Most notable was that when I picked the car up I was told that there was a minor oil leak from the rocker cover but that this had been fixed by their mechanics. I have just paid £150 to have the rocker cover completely replaced because of another oil leak that has developed as a result of someone drilling a bolt into the old rocker cover and attaching a cable tie around the filler cap collar to secure it rather than replacing it. I am guessing that this was the 'reapair' that they made to the rocker cover when I bought the car. The car was also massively over filled with oil when I collected it and I had to have it drained and refilled to the correct level buy my local garage. I then found that there was some play in the steering and asked my local garage to investigate. They found that a critical UJ from the steering column was completely missing! This meant that in an emergency the steering could have failed. I also had to replace the water pump within the 3 month warranty of the car. Although after a number of phone calls and emails they agreed to pay for the oil refill and UJ their complete lack of customer service meant that I eventually gave up and paid for the water pump myself. Apart from the terrible customer service I am completely shocked by the quality of care and reapir of this vehicle by a supposedly repuatable dealership. The mechanic at my local garage could not believe that the rocker cover had been bodged in such a way by a trade dealership.
