Absolute Rubbish
Precooked a cab for 7 well in advance, put in credit card details as requested. A little bit out the way hence prebooking and happy to prepay.
Company left us high and dry, after 30 minute wait they said they would try there best and expect an hour wait and no guarantees then. Gad to find an alternative which we were very lucky to get.
Absolutely shocking service, would implore everyone not to book unless you're happy to be stuck without a cab despite a prebooking. Angry doesn't describe how I feel about this company.

Horrible! Terrible! The Worst!
Stay away from VCars.... worst company in England.
I booked a taxi for 7am. 7am came and went with no taxi. I called, they apologised and said the taxi would be there in 5 minutes. 5 minutes came and went. I called back after 15-20 minutes. They barely offered a reason and said the driver was on another job..... I had booked the taxi more than 24hrs before.

Very Unsafe Company
Left a family including a child stranded for an hour in an isolated place. We Pre booked and pre paid for a 5 seater taxi for after a wedding. Over an hour late to pick us up. This was way past midnight. We had a 12 year old child with us and were cold. When the taxi finally arrived it wasn’t a 5 seater, had to have the child on adults lap. The poor taxi driver had to break the law and Covid rules by having someone in the front seat and a child on an adults lap, only because he refused to leave us in an isolated place in the cold. During this time of waiting we were on the phone trying to find out where the taxi was, and the man on the phone was so rude. He hung up 3 times. He said this was because he was stressed and irate. He didn’t even care that we had a child with us.
He also accused us of not paying and said that’s why the taxi hadn’t come, and when we said we have confirmation that the money had been charged to our card he accused us of lying. I’m beginning wonder if this is a bit dodgy? If I had been a woman on my own this would have been terrifying.

Waited For Over An Hour And No Taxi Dispatched. Fake Booking
Waited for over an hour and no car dispatched. After an hour called and there was no car for us. After that said 10min and we waited another 30 min and then called again and they said 20 more min. Ridiculous

Awful Experience: Fake Booking And Doubled Price
I would recommend that nobody use V Cars service under any circumstances. I recently made a booking days in advance for a pre-agreed time and price. What actually occurred was completely different to what I booked. My taxi did not show up, and when I was finally able to get in touch with somebody in the office they told me that nothing had been dispatched. They then told me that they would arrange for a taxi ASAP and call me back. Of course they never called me back, and I had to keep calling them back multiple times to finally get a taxi to arrive. When the taxi did finally arrive over an hour late, the driver told me that the price was almost double what we had pre-agreed!! Being stuck in the middle of nowhere past midnight I had no choice but to take the taxi, but I believe it is unacceptable to take advantage of customers who have no alternative by pressuring them into accepting an artificially inflated price.
I spoke to the customer support team and was told flat out that they would not do anything. They would not offer a refund, and that taxis not arriving on time was the nature of their business. In fact I was told that my 'booking' was not actually a booking. What V Cars do is offer your journey to drivers on the day but there is no guarantee that anybody is available or that they will accept. So booking in advance is completely pointless and gives them authorisation to charge whatever amount they want to your card later on!!
V Cars terrible service is topped only by their utter disregard for their customers, as demonstrated by their business practice of not providing confirmed bookings as advertised and artificially changing the journey price with no reason. There is a reason these companies are going out of business!

Waste Of Time. Lost All Faith In The Aa.
Waste of time. Lost all faith in the AA. I purchased a car from a dealership i was unsure about and the only thing that pursuaded me was the AA Dealer Promise. Within a few days of buying there was something not quite right with the car and the dealership was not very helpful so i contacted the AA who state that they would step in if the dealer was not helpful. There reply was "The dealer no longer has a relationship with the AA, they are under no obligation to comply with any further requests made by us or to even engage in further dialogue, therefore we would advise you to refer your complaint to Citizens Advice". I mentioned that the dealer was part of the AA when i purchased the vehicle a few days ago and got a similar response. I then looked on the AA website and saw the dealership was indeed still on the AA site advertising many cars. Yet for some reason still got the same response which makes no sense whatsoever. So, within a few days the AA no longer back my purchase up. Yet they are still advertising their cars and still are 3 weeks later. I invested 5 years in a £8,650 purchase because of the AA Dealer Promise and have recieved the worst customer service EVER!!!! Trading Standards will be involved with the AA VCars website. Misselling is the deliberate, reckless, or negligent sale of products or services in circumstances where the contract is either misrepresented, or the product or service is unsuitable for the customer's needs. Also false advertising... Deceptive advertising, also known as false advertising, refers to a manufacturer's use of confusing, misleading, or blatantly untrue statements when promoting a product. Advertising law will protect consumers from deceptive advertising through the enforcement of specific legislation.

Easy You To Use And A Great Deal From The Dealer.
I found vcars.co.uk whilst searching for a secondhand citroen DS 3.
Vcars site was really easy to use and put me in touch with Bristol Street Motors who where very help. I ended up getting an excellent deal on a new DS3
They took my old car, a Citroen C1 in part exchange and this was all done online and over the phone. My new car was delivered to my house from a dealer in Nottingham and my old car was taken away. All round an excellent service.
Thanks Vcars.co.uk for getting me in touch with the right dealer.
