Don’t Buy From Them!!

Shocking treatment of a customer, purchased a BMW X5 which apparently has gone through all the pre checks, on collection there was a host of major issues which they committed to addressing by sending to BMW within 2 weeks to fix all issues and known faults. Misrepresentation of the car claiming a full BMW service record, which is simply incorrect. 3months on, countless emails and calls, being ignored constantly and even escalating via the finance company and now via the ombudsman. Avoid at all costs if you value your time. As bad as it gets in terms of service and customer experience. All this whilst I’m still driving a faulty car 3 months on!!

Dodged A Bullet

Salesman CP started poorly by failing to answer my query or phoning me back. We decided to drive 40 miles to look at the black 64 plate mini as we were keen to purchase, we made sure we had all documents to buy on the day. On arrival the said salesman approached us. At this time we were unaware it was him, he then made an excuse why he hadn't rang me back. He was very rude argumentative and confrontational. We felt bullied by him. So to say the least we got up and walked towards the door with him following us. One of the other salesman rang late that evening and tried to pick up a sale from us but after reading the reviews and reflecting on how badly CP treated us we brought a lovely mini from a professional car dealership that made the purchasing experience a pleasure.

Avoid this company would be our advice.

Unhelpful

I popped in last week to enquire on a new kia sportage. The sales guy didn't even remove himself from his seat and looked positively bored with having to discuss anything to do with the car. I said I was interested in the '2' spec and his response is, we don't have any and I don't even have any brochures to give you. So the best thing to do was to email him or his colleague with the quotes that we had already got and he would take a look.

I could go on but to be honest, like the sales guy, I really can't be bothered. I'm not sure I've ever written a review but this was definitely worth one.

Needless to say we have gone to Kia in Southend who are much more interested in our business.

Please don't waste your time going here, you really will be disappointed.

Liars And Robbers

I purchased a car from them last year, the top salesman the lying b...sh...tter, assured me that it would be have a FULL SERVICE, and MOT.

A year down the line, my MOT is due along with a service. I asked the guy what service did it have last year, a major, or a minor? On his computer he got up last years details, and low and behold it says a oil change and a pre delivery inspection!, so I was deceived into thinking it had a full service prior to me purchasing it. I book it in, and was told it would be ready for 1pm. At 12.58, no phone call to say it is. I call them to be told of the ' health check' issues. The issues were my brakes discs on both front wheels are all corroded and will need replacing with 3-6 months, so clearly these were not checked a year ago.

On collecting my car, it was given the key and told its in the car park. Stupid me thinking it would come back to me washed and hoovered as stated on my Auto Approved paperwork. You guessed it wasn't, still as dirty as I'd left it earlier that day.

If you want to be lied to, deceived, and generally taken for a fool, go there.

Me, I'll never buy another car from them, and I'd certainly never recommend them to family, friends or anybody!!

AVOID AT ALL COST, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Highway Robbers

If I had read the reviews I would not have taken my car here. I put my car in for a MOT and they were ruthless and I had to have work done to get it through it's MOT. That not being too bad but the work they done was shoddy and not finished. I had to take it back so they could rectify their poor workmanship. What was worse was the lame excuses and them insulting my intelligence by talking utter B.S as it was just poor work and a mechanic who must suffer from I don't give a dam syndrome. They apologised and offered me a free car wash! I told them in no uncertain terms to stuff it where the sun don't shine....They draw you in with their £10.00 MOT and shaft you with things which most garages would give advisories but these idiots say the items are faulty and need replacing.Last year I got them to service my car and I had suspicions that the oil was not changed. I checked it when I got home and the oil was was black as it was when I gave it to them. I only live 700 yards away from the garage and it would not have fowled that much.

My stupidity as I came back again this year for another shafting.

Please avoid as these people do not have any idea of customer satisfaction or give a dam on retaining customers as they are badly trained and afraid of the dealer principle so all you will get will be poor excuses

After Sales Support

I contacted west drive kia in regards to a kia soul. I went to view the car I was interested in and was taken for a test drive. The salesman and the car were very good. I looked very closely at the body work and also the interior. I decided to go ahead and purchase the car.

On collection day we completed all the purchase documents and were taken outside to the car, which was parked in a very confined space. The salesman showed me the boot and then the instruments then waved us on our way.

My wife and I drove on the dual carriage way for about 6 miles then pulled in a large layby so she could have a feel for the driving position. When she came round to the driver's side she said"have you seen this on the rear wheel arch". There were 4 small scratches and one large one with the bare metal showing through.

My immediate words were I should have had a better look round before leaving their premises, as now they will more than likely say, it was OK when we handed the car over.

On contacting the salesman and explaining what had happened he said he would look into it.

Surprise, surprise they said sorry perfect when you left so basically, get on with it.

Would I recommend WestDrive,NO,Would I go there again NO. The quality of a good company is how they treat there customers if my experience is anything to go by, without.

I Took Two Cars Down There In 1 Month On Their £10

I took two cars down there in 1 month on their £10.00 MOT bargain, one was my own car and the second was my father's car. I should have gone to my normal MOT centre, but the first car they caused a fault on the coil spring and told me it will cost £118.00. I know my car, but on this occasion I gave them the benefit of the doubt and got the coil fixed somewhere else for £84.00 inc VAT and Labour. The second time I took my father's car down there which is only 5 years old and low and behold they found the same problem on the coil spring the same side as they found on my car (which was 13 years old) and told me the same problem had happened on my father's ca. It seems like these guys are fishing. They get you in on the £10.00 MOT and then screw with your car. It just looks too plain and obvious when they did it the second time. I then pointed this out to them and they say that they have not tampered with the coil it just happens to cars and more so on Ford cars. I have now taken this car to another place to get the coil fixed and WILL not ever be using Westdrive for anything again. BEWARE this truly is a BOGUS company.

They have purposely now on two occasions caused the same fault on the coil spring on the passenger side thinking that I was going to give them £118.00 to fix it. It just seems too obvious the second time when they did it to my father's car too. I am so angry with these guys and they do not care. The manager of after sales just told me that the coil goes on most cars. I told him that they have a huge staff there and how on earth can they pay all their salaries on £10.00 MOT's unless they are causing problems in order for them to upsell and/or fix a rapair? He just said that they did not cause the coil faults just for them to repair. I will not be using this company ever again and would advise anyone to go use another company for their MOT and or services/repairs.~

Excellent

I recently went to Kia Westdrive Braintree to look at purchasing a Kia Venga.

I spoke with a salesman who was very helpful, but sadly they did not have exactly what I was after in their showroom. He then spent time looking to find something for me. I am happy to say I am a very happy owner of a Venga now. Nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend Kia Westdrive, everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely the easiest and least stressful car purchase I have ever made.
