Exception From Dartford Crossing Toll
I am disabled and travel from West Sussex to Skegness to visit relatives. Everytime I have used the Crossing I have had to hand over my Tax Disc at the Toll Booths to get exception from the toll,(My Disc shows I am except from Road Tax) this is Ok if there are two of us in the car, but if I am by myself the attendant has to get out of the booth and check the disc, as you can imagine this causes a lot of horn blowing from those waiting to go through. So in September I applied to connectplusm24 who deal with the applications. It's now February 2013 and I still haven't had my exception. I have emailed 3 times to be told they are dealing with it. The last email 2 weeks ago from connectplusm25, told me I now have an account, but I still haven't had the go ahead to use the crossing. What are they doing?
Firstly my review should read Exemption from Dartford Crossing Toll. Just to add I received my card this morning 15/2/13, no instructions as to what to do, had to go back to their web site to find that out.
