I've been here on and off for the last 10 years or more and it's never let me down. Free showers although they do lock them every other shower at times so that spoils it a little. Just leave them all open what's the point? We know why but there is still no point it happens anyway and will carry on happening. Plus brings a lot more custom to the place. Same with the toilets but they are great and have extra facilities most of the time. Can get busy at times but the staff are always happy to help making it well Worth a visit, only thing it needs is the KFC and it will be perfect. Can't fault the place.

does any one see anything strange about the internet mast v close to poplar 2000. Anytime i log on to o2 i gain unwanted internet connections.

If your connecting to the wifi anyware around there i would use a VPN to secure your connection. Just look for vpn on play store

Parked overnight and woke to find curtains cut ( new trailer).

I was parked on the front row so not hidden down the back somewhere.

i informed security who just said we are here for the buildings and personell not the wagons

they didn't want to know.

This place is a dump cold food unhelpful staff and everything overpriced .

I have been a HGV driver for over 20 years now and can safely say if their is one truck stop I dread going to its this one.The HGV refueling station is an ongoing joke,many times my fuel card wont scan so I have to carry on in the hope I can get to a station without running out of diesel.If I know in advance I will have to stop over night I always take my own food as the quality of theirs is nothing short of disgusting.Everything you buy on site is top price and the staff seem to have a look on their faces that says 'God I wish I wasnt here'.If you do end up having to stay at this horrid place make sure its just to use the toilets and if you can try and move on to the next one.

Having used Lymm Truckstop place many times for over nights,i feel that it has slowly declined over the years. It is now very expensive and the food deserves a mark of 1/10.the showers and toilets are terrible,the bar is to expensive to drink in and the overall helpfulness of the staff is not very good at all....

The main problem with the poplar 2000 Lymm services is the parking monitoring system.

The cameras will pick your car up entering the site and then fail to register you when you leave. If you then use the facility again later that day or the following day they assume you have parked overnight or over the allowed maximum time and they issue a fine. When you contact the call centre they are unhelpful, can not give you a contact to speak to and will not put anything in writing other than the ticket. I wouldn't recommend.

As a person who use these services regular on nite, I would just like to comment on the poor standard of food being served to us in the transport industry, I do not mind paying £8 for a meal, but expect it to be of high standard.The services has slowly declined of the years, as the prices have gone up. The standard of food is now so poor (not fresh sat on a hot plate for hours on end), that I keep driving ........Maybe Gordon Ramsay should call in, Or stop dishing out awful food?TOP TIP!Try Truckhaven at carnforth for quality food and prices.
