On Entering The Pub It Presented A Very Clean, Mod

On entering the Pub it presented a very clean, Modern Bistro, formally named Ceccos, The White horse was very welcoming.

The food was very good and had been cooked fresh and nicely presented on large plates, they were very accommodating toward small children and provided a high chair for our 2 year old.

Although the restaurant did not look full, we were asked to wait for a table for around 20 min, then a further 15 min for the food once seated.

I felt the portions were not very generous and didn't justify the price.

Just having a Main course and not the starter or desert may not have contributed to the full eating experience, but would of made our meal more expensive as we would of expected.

We would go again as we liked the food but shorter waiting times wouldn't go amiss and the Floor staff to be a little more attentive as we did run out of drinks and had to summons the waitress twice.

It Took 1 Hour For The Staff At Ceccos Italian Res

It took 1 hour for the staff at Ceccos Italian restaurant in Rossendale to take our order.

I had prawn cocktail for a starter. It consisted of a small pile of prawns with 2 small pieces of lettuce and 1 cherry tomato, with a small spoonful of sauce. This was put onto a large plate.

For 2 of our main meals we had Sea Bass and Sea Bream. This was served in tin foil, which the waiter served from by heading and tailing the fish. He then spooned spoonfuls of fish onto our plate, along with the fish bones. We were given no veg, and this cost £14 each. One of the other meals was a pizza, which was very dry, and one of the worst I have every had. The meal cost us £100 for 5 of us which is £20 each, and I can honestly say it is the worst service and meal I have every had.
