A Regular Diner At The Mulberry Tree And Other Res
A regular diner at the Mulberry Tree and other restaurants across the north west and I have to say this place is the best in the area. I have never been disappointed here.

Disappointed With The Whole Experience. We Arrived
Disappointed with the whole experience. We arrived to be greeted by a less than confident waitress who asked us if we wanted to eat in the restaurant or bar. Before we could answer, the manager/barman behind the bar mouthed to her "the bar" in a rather demeening manner. Some of the food was tasty but the portion size is out of control. We ordered a cheeseburger meal from the childrens menu - but when it arrived it looked twice the size of the adult portions. It wasn't thouroughly cooked and was caked in sauce/mayo. We should have been asked if we wanted this as it wasn't specified in the menu. Even the chips arrived with mayo and ketchup and some kind of green puree already on them!
Our First Visit To The Mulberry Tree Was Very Plea
Our first visit to the Mulberry Tree was very pleasant but nothing exceptional but on our second visit, whilst the food and service were on par with the previous occasion we were less than happy with the bill. It was not pointed out to us that service was included and my wife left a substantial cash gratuity. On arriving home we noticed this and phoned the next day and explained the situation to the manager. It was agreed that the service charge on the bill would be refunded by cheque. Despite a further two phone calls the cheque has never appeared. If you are visiting this restaurant check your bill carefully.
