I can’t believe some of the reviews regarding this company. I have had the total opposite. Having lost my lovely £40,000 motor home in the floods recently in Derbyshire, the claim process has been nothing but positive, supportive and rapidly dealt with.
We were both traumatised at the time as we were trapped inside the van and had to be rescued so I could not have coped with any more stress. Every phone call made was answered by someone who empathised with us and gave us the support and advice needed. The claim has been dealt with fairly and paid within 3 weeks!!! I would like to say a special thank you to the lady who dealt with most of my emails and queries. The man who assessed my vehicle fairly and again for help and support with devices that needed removing. I will be buying another motor home shortly and will definitely be going with this company again.

No Wonder They Have Lost The Contract
Awful is a word I try not to use. But never in my life have I ever met a company who can actually make your car accident 10 times worse than it should be. I must say it's not all there fault but with the RAC and the Motor Repair Network they have made us feel so angry would enjoy 10 minutes with each of there Directors in a small room and show them what it feels like being in a car accident then having to deal with there staff. 13 days after the accident we still didn't have a car to use our car has been up and down the country god knows . No one knew where the car was at one stage. RAC staff turning up at 10 pm anything they could willy up they have done. Never met a man before from Liverpool who says why are you laughing at me stop it or I'm going to terminate this call.Should of recorded it and sent it to Manchester United and let them play it every time they play Liverpool. That my friend was supposed to of been a manager. Please if you can don't ever use the RSA or Motor Repair network ( Mr Pugh you should be ashamed having such bad staff and at the end of the day the buck stops with you )

Absolutely Disgusting Behavior!
Absolutely disgusted with this company! I was rear ended on the 3rd January by one of your drivers whilst at traffic lights! After countless phone calls i still don't have a curtsy car and you still haven't authorized my car to be repaired because your trying to save 10% of the repair bill!!!! Disgusting!!! to be told my car is driveable because it passed its MOT does not mean its driveable! The sensors/rear bumper and electrics are damaged, Bumper was smashed off & the car is pulling slightly to the left, to be told this could of happened before the accident so your not sure if your going to cover it!!! to then have to have more emails sent over by the garage to say 'this damage has happened when the car was rear ended' OBVIOUSLY! Its a wheel alignment your arguing about!!! which should automatically be covered when any car is rear ended! All i want is my car back at it was before the accident and a courtesy car so I can get out and about!!! Not much to ask really!! My car has been sat in the garage since being collected last Tuesday night and still no courtesy car.... and more phone calls!! After looking at other reviews your obviously an insurance company to avoid and I will be giving people my honest opinion and reviewing you on every review site! I had to deal with rsa as a 3rd party even though there client admitted full liability insurance had to fight to get every penny out of them. There client smashed into my van which is essential to my mobile grooming business. I have been left out of pocket and paying more for a new van I had to rush to buy as they took the rental van off me. They was prepared to leave me with no transport and no way of getting to my clients. This has had a massive impact on my business and my health. Phone calls, emails and letters have been sent. I will be reporting them to the ombudsman. Avoid avoid avoid.
As you are the third party and not a contracted customer with RSA they will offer no assistance to you. It's a waste of your time.

Waiting Time For Rsa Mva Benefits
RSA has made me wait and am still waiting for my MVA benefits.The accident occured on May 5,2016.It's now August 11,2016 and the response I keep getting is that the forensic accountants are working on it.
My wife and I are now out of our rental unit and am now renting a motel room.We are on Sovial Services and as of Friday at 11 am will be out on the street .I have made them aware of their cause of our financial ruin but it continues to go on deaf ears.Now that Sovial Services are involved they will want reimbursable for all monies given to us.They are not one's to be patient waiting for their money.
I have also contacted Global news with my personal news story.Bsd publicity can break even the largest of companies.I'll be giving my story to Sll news stations.
I can wait no longer than 11:01 am Friday morning.
I hope that this review gets seen by somebody at RSA.RSA need not worry about my wife and myself renewing our insurance with.I think our parting will be mutually beneficial.

In 2014 I had an accident and I notified my insurance company RSA. I told them that I wasn't at fault as I was driving along the road and the third party emerged from a parked position and smashed into my car. RSA were holding the third party at fault. Then 3 months later I received letters from the third party asking me to pay out £8000 I was shocked I told my insurance company RSA and they asked me to send them the letters so I did despite that 3 months later they paid out to the third party without me even knowing I was shocked I asked rsa your suppose to be supporting me not the third party they said it was a order from court and they had to pay I said that's not fair. The third party caused the accident and they are getting paid out so I said I'm going to court because your have not dealt with my claim fairly and efficiently. I am absolutely disgusted with RSA and the way they have dealt with my claim absolutely out of order. I am still waiting to hear from the court once I've received a date I will go to court and prove to them that I was telling the truth. I would never recommend RSA car insurance to anyone because when you need them they don't care about their customer

Rubbbish Company Bad Customer Care
absolutely terrible company , they don't listen , its nearly 5 months and they haven't even got the other parties policy details to start my claim for loss/injury. I am soo frustrated with them , they pass you on to so many different people .. who all think and tell you different. I have had to do a lot of finding out myself.. I had my Building and home contents with them I cancelled the policy last month. DO NOT USE THEM

Rsa Will Find Every Reason Not To Pay For Your Claim
ROYAL AND SUN ALLIANCE now RSA INSURANCE. Please don't be a fool by taking out policy with this company. They are rogue. If you can avoid MORE THAN VAN INSURANCE please do as they all work for each other and are bogus company. They will take your money and in the event of claim they will find every reason not to pay for your claim.
My van was hit into a building after avoiding a motorbike and I decided to make a fault claim because my vehicle was badly damaged. I spoke to 5 different people reporting the same incident . I was being pushed from one person to the other and was told to describe the scene, after I was told to dress a sketch, after I was told someone will come to my house so I can show her on google map where the incident occurred. This lady came to my house in a bathroom slippers early in the morning looking very shabby and dirty. She took same statement about 10 pages. After it took them one month before they got back to me and now asking me to follow this lady to the scene after 2 months of reporting the incident . Because I was furious and angry I refused to follow the lady to the scene. What's the point of the sketch , google map, I took a day off work for the lady to attend my house and now they want me to follow them to the accident scene. It appears they have now decided to reject my claim because I refused to follow them. I am claiming a fault accident which is going against my no claim. Why not just accept it. They even asked for my payslips to know where I was working which I found very ridiculous . They will look for every excuse not to pay for your claim. PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are bunch of bullies, rude, lack customer service , non-chalant and unprofessional.

I Feel Royally Ripped Off!
i am 8 1/2 months into a policy with 3 1/2 months remaining, my only change to my policy is the vehicle covered.
i originally had a 200 bhp Vauxhall Zafira GSi (a powerful bus) covered with these and had what i thought was a good quote considering the insurance group and risk etc.. However, a few years on, the vehicle developed issues and i decided to sell it as such.
i then purchased a little 1.4 95 bhp fiat punto sporting (a considerable performance downgrade and lower valuation)
i called autonet to amend the policy to the little punto. Now, part of me says that i should be offered a little refund, yet at the same time i know how insurers don't like to give anything back. I was very surprised to learn of an additional premium of £144.26 (£109.26 to Royal sun alliance & £35 admin to autonet) to cover the replacement car for the remaining 3 1/2 months. i ran a quote through elsewhere for £174.90 for the year!
At the end of the day, Royal sun alliance knew i'd just bought another car, i had no insurance on it and that if i wanted to drive it home, i'd have to pay whatever they decided upon or lose NCB entitlement and start over.
The final excuse came back from RSA that it was due to lack of experience driving the punto. Interestingly i owned a punto HGT 1.8 for 5 years previously!
Yes, i was over a barrel and Royal sun alliance were standing behind me!
