Fabulous 2 Week Holiday
Just spent 2 weeks at Oliva Beach, absolutely loved it.
We arrived at about 9 o clock on the Saturday Evening and was greeted by a Very Smiley Receptionist who told Us that We had been upgraded to The Hotel instead of The Annex, with a Sea View,Fantastic start to the holiday.
We had Our bags delivered to Our room and then went down to the restaurant for dinner.
The restaurant was very clean and very well organised.
Food was plentiful.and a good variety, this was the case for the whole of Our Stay.
Bar Areas were well maintained, and again,Staff were friendly, never waited for more than a couple of minutes for anything.
Pool Area,I would say is a little small for the size of the hotel, plenty of loungers but not enough umbrellas. As with a lot of hotels,a lot of the loungers had towells on them by 7am,there are signs saying that You cannot do this, but people don't take any notice,so in the end,its a case of,if You can't beat them, join them.
There is a small Free,Beach Area, which You could usually get on even at about 9.30,which is where We spent a lot of Our time.
If You wanted to use The Public Beach,it was 9 Euros for The Day,for 2 Loungers and an Umbrella, once again, very clean.
It was lovely to be able to help Yourselves to drinks throughout the day at various locations.there was always something to drink or eat whatever the time.
Reps were friendly and always eager to help, although We didn't have cause to use them much,We booked Our trip Online before We went Out.Talking of which,The trip,Fuertaventura Uncovered is a Must,Value for Money, and very informative.
Thank You to All involved for making Our Holiday what it was,FABULOUS.

I Stayed At The Hotel Riu Oliva Beach For One Week
I stayed at the Hotel Riu Oliva Beach for one week and I found it to be a great place. The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent and it was clean and extremely well run. The weather whilst I was there was fantastic, no clouds or rain and very little wind. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

I Have Stayed @ This Hotel Christmas N/year Spring
I have stayed @ this hotel christmas n/year spring autumn on and off over 15 years about 10/11 times all told, but the star rating has dropped since making the whole complex as one who wants a room overlooking the main road unless you are self-catering (near supermarket)
I have stayed @ other hotels in Corralejo, Costa Calma, Jandia,
Cala Fuste, But I still come back. but for how long the price has gone up £450 since last year now Tui owns all the main British Hoiday companies I reckon Tui is using us to subsidise Europe

Bus Stop 5 Mins Walk Away From Hotel Which Takes Y
Bus stop 5 mins walk away from hotel which takes you to harbour, town centre where there are lots of shops and restaurants. A few lively bars but you have to arrive late to enjoy a busy atmosphere. Trip to Lobos Island is an experience! Great for sunbathing, swimming and snorkling. No other facilities on the island and only one toilet!!!

Hotel Riu Oliva Beach. Wonderful location - the beach is breathtaking and very easy to reach, very nice and helpful staff, great food. There is quite a German influence. We are a family with 2 children, 4 and 7 and for us it could not be any better! We want to go back!

Unfortunately And Unusually Weather Was Not Good.
Unfortunately and unusually weather was not good. Lucky we had a balcony that was a sun trap when it decided to come out of the cloud. Spoke to a couple who had to request a heater because of their rooms location. We spent many a happy relaxing hour on our balcony, retiring to our comfortable room when the sun disappeared. Two pools one with activities not to intrusive but plenty of other areas where you can relax with a good book. Food very good extensive choice, two separate restaurants which we did not use as there was no need. Beach with azure sea on the doorstep no litter, pity the hotel did not have an exclusive area on the beach as the sun beds were expensive. Alcholic drinks very generous yet no drunken larger louts. Staff were always courteous and friendly. We hired a car, wished we had not bothered nothing to see, that was any better than the immediate area of the hotel, yet roads were quiet and well surfaced with a very low speed limit. The bus stopped outside the hotel to go to the resort it took about ten minutes. Good to walk the promenade, watch the surfers, forget the shops far cheaper back home. Evening entertainment was not up to the standard of our last holiday in Tunisia. The crew lacked direction but certainly not effort. If you want scenery go to Scotland, if you want entertainment go to Blackpool, if you want to relax and unwind book now.
Unfortunately And Unusually The Weather For Our Ho
Unfortunately and unusually the weather for our holiday was not good. Luckily our balcony was a sun trap, we spent many a relaxing hour just reading and playing games on our balcony, retiring to our very comfortable room when the sun retreated behind cloud. This hotel and this Island is for those who want a relaxing holiday. Your every need is taken care of. Forget hiring a car as we did, for there is nothing to see that is any better than the hotel area. Corralejo is a lovely resort, with a promenade, its good to watch the surfers, forget the shops, goods are far cheaper at home, a bus ride of ten minutes, picked up from outside the hotel, at half hour intervals. If you did wish to hire a car, prices are reasonable, roads are quiet and well surfaced with a very slow speed limit. At the hotel you have the choice of two pools, the main one has various activities going on, don't worry though there are areas where you are not disturbed.

This Hotel/holiday Was The Best Me And My Family H
This hotel/holiday was the best me and my family have ever been on and we will definitely go again. As soon as we arrived we got checked in very quickly and our bags were taken to our room, we were given wrist bands, silver for over 18's and red for under 18's, my sister is 16 and wasn't happy that she got a red wristband because it means she can't get into the disco or order alcoholic drinks, but if the parent of the family asks the staff to change the band then they will do because they have the parents permission to do so, you are also given free bottled water at reception which is very good. We were placed in the annex part of the hotel which we were happy about even though some people that were placed there didn't like it, we were on the bottom floor of one of the blocks which over looked the pool and it was nice because we could sit at night on the balcony and look over the pool whilst having a drink. The food and drinks were very nice, so much to choose from and all the waiters and bar staff were brilliant, very friendly and helped us with anything we had a problem with. There were two restaurants in the hotel, if one is open the other is closed and vice versa, we only went to the spanish one which is open most nights, it is similar to the main buffet but it is smaller and you have a certain time to be there, the chinese one is only open thursday nights and friday nights, (be aware you have to book the restaurants the day before and you have to book the chinese one very early the morning because it books up very quick) we didn't realise this and so we didn't get chance to go to the chinese resturant but we were told the food was very good. Apart from the restaurants there is the main buffet which quite big and the people who don't book the 6pm or 8pm restaurant reservations go to the main buffet, it opens at 6pm but at first it is a mad rush and people seem to run in like a pack of zoo animals to get to the food, it's better to go 10 or 15 mins after it opens once people have got there first course. The hotel was a very high standard, it was clean all the time, the maids work very hard and came everyday to make the beds, clean the floors and change any towels that you need to change. My family didn't go out of the complex at all during the holiday because there was so much to do. I went to the town for a few hours on my 3rd day to see what it was like and I was very impressed, lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants also if you walk down the main street for long enough you get to the end of the town and you can see lanzarote which looks very nice on a clear day. The bus comes at every hour or half past the hour, it is 1 euro 15 and only takes about 10 mins to get to into the town. In the hotel during the day there were lots of things to do, volleyball and soccer on the beach and card games and bingo, also there is the mini club which looks good for kids. The night time is very good, there is a mini disco which all the children loved, then there are the shows which start at 9:00pm and are on every night and they were all amazing, very funny and entertaining. There is a bar near the shop at the beach side of the hotel which is generally for older people, there is a small dance floor for old time dancing, it was a very nice bar to sit and relax at night and it was nice to watch couples dancing. For some of the younger people there is a disco downstairs which start at 10:30pm and goes on till 2:00am, the DJ is very nice and will play a song if you ask for it, but all the songs he plays are good anyway. Overall the holiday was brilliant, we met some very nice people and families and we met some good friends within the staff and we will definilety go back to see them all.

Very Good Well Run Hotel, Spotlessly Clean, Great
Very good well run hotel, spotlessly clean, great staff especially the animation team. Always felt regarded as inferior to German guests although animation team worked hard during the numerous games and activities to get everybody to mix and have fun and they did but its only briefly! Well worth going, its got more good points than bad!
