We Purchased Home Insurancein April 2010. We Tried
we purchased home insurancein april 2010. We tried to make a claim in December due to a power cut and they lost it because they wrote the claim on a piece of paper. After 4 weeks of not hearing from them i decided to ring... Legal & General who are the insurance said we have to make a new claim ! you can imagine how fustrated i was, so i made a new claim then told we had to pay 2 excesses of £50 each. If we paid 1 of the excess it wouldnt of been worth claiming. for the second item they said pay us £50 excess and well repair it for you. arrrrghh so just a waste of time company that wriggles out of paying out.
ps also when you try to ring them you will be waiting for aprox 25mins on hold each phone call. today ive wrote this, cooked and eaten soup, cleaned my cats bowl and washed dishes and im still on hold.

I Believe They Are Up There With The Most Cynical
I believe they are up there with the most cynical in sucking customers in with a headline rate and then dropping it. The eISA Maturity is currently 0.1%, I noticed suddenly! And my online esaver had dropped to 1%. Both are well below my other run-of-the-mill BS accounts, which currently run at around 1.8%. Time to exit.

This site is visually confusing. When I log on I want a clear homepage that directs me to specific areas of interest, not a bombardment of information that is difficult to sort through. Get a new web site design !

I Opened An Eisa Account With Bradford & Bingley I
I opened an eISA account with Bradford & Bingley in April 2008 because the interest rate was very good. The second year (2009) the interest rate was very poor so I requested a transfer to another ISA Provider. The transfer was agreed with B&B on 15th April 2009. To date 29th July the money has still not been transferred despite many calls and promises from the ISA dept. I will never use B&B again and will tell anyone who will listen to me what an incompetent organisation the B&B is.

My Wife And I Applied For An Eisa In Early May 200
My wife and I applied for an eISA in early May 2008. We received our application numbers and an assurance that our Welcome Packs (joke) had 'gone to post'. Our cheques were posted on the 17th. May and cashed on the 28th. May. We returned from holiday and a letter was waiting for me giving me an account number. There was no similar letter for my wife and she has still not received her Welcome Pack. We decided to cancel our applications and wrote a letter, with backup email, to that effect. Neither were acknowledged.
On the 12th. July 2008 my wife finally received an account number.
This is our first dealing with B & B and needless to say it will be the last.

I Have Internet Saver(1). Bradford And Bingley Em
I have Internet Saver(1). Bradford and Bingley emailed me to say the rate was cut to 5.65% with a table comparing a few accounts that pay less, saying this is still a great place for my savings.
They didn't mention that they now have Internet Saver(2) paying 6% for new accounts!
My money will be moving elsewhere.

I Was Looking For My First Mortgage And Came Acros
I was looking for my first mortgage and came across Bradford & Bingley online. There were some helpful calculators and a good section on buying my first home. Would have liked more though, as I have been reading up on mortgages for a few weeks and having the one place that has all the advice and the ability to apply would be great.
