Service Is Absolutely Ridiculous

If you buy and item and need it quick, don't even consider PURELYGADGETS.CO.UK, the order processing time is outrageous... Although they claim they have item in stock for immediate dispatch, it takes ages without any updates or ETAs. Even if you call customer services, story is still the same, no answer to your questions, just - your order is with warehouse team...

The worst online retailer that I have shopped with in last 10 years...

Avoid! No Stock, No Way Of Meeting Lead Time, Avoid!

I ordered a mophie juice pack from purely gadgets on 25th April, which showed as in stock with a delivery time of 2-5 days. I even received an email confirmation, saying that it would be with me in 2-5 days, maybe sooner! Payment was taken the same day.

On 2nd May (4 days excluding date of order) I logged on to my account to see if the order had progressed only to find that it was still in the processing stage.

I then tried to call their customer service team, the number had a message by purely gadgets saying that they were experiencing a fault with the line, so i tried their sales line, they told me they would put me through to customer services, all of a sudden the phone was ringing again. The phone rang out and I left a voicemail.

A little while later I was called back saying that the item wasn't actually in stock and they weren't sure when it would be back in stock, i was then offered an alternative item (is this bait advertising in practice?), which I declined when they were still unable to get it to me in time. I was then told that I would need to email cancel@purelygadgetcancel to cancel the order, which I did, only to be told that the refund wiould take 3 days. I was then offered a £5 discount code as 'compensation'.

This is not a professional outfit, take my advice and spend a couple of quid more to ensure you get what you pay for in the advertised timescale.

Poor After Service

I purchased a HTC phone from purely gadgets in October 2011, in december 2011 it went wrong but because it was older than 14 days old they where not interested in replacing the phone but would only cosider fixing it.

after a lot of e mails i sent the phone to their repair center in the late part of december 2011. After 3 months and a big load of e mails the evantually gave me the money back for the phone as they had still not been able to source the parts to fix the phone,

At last you might think result they have given me back the money for my phone , but hold on they deducted 5 months from the price they sent back to me three and a half of those months it had been in their repair center.

Morrel if you want a cheap product ie phone delivered on time go to purely gadgets if you want any reasonable after care service DONT GO TO THEM SCORE OUT OF 100 - THEY GET 1

Processing. . .

I ordered an unlocked mobile phone from the website. The price was cheaper than the rest of the website, hence made the decision to buy from purely gadgets than say, Amazon. I placed an ordered on Monday and the payment wad cleared right away. The customer service was the best until now.

A new account was opened on my behalf to chase the purchase. And the status of my order was "processing" for what seemed liked an eternity. Patience is my virtue but prior to ordering I had specially made it clear I would like to delivery before Friday of that week since it was my girlfriend's birthday. And it was all optimistic from the purchase team's member.

But the "processing" status of my ordered lasted for more than 5 days! Their customer service read their responses from a script and don't say a word more than what's in the script. If you try and show your frustration they will repeat their response but that is about it!

I knew I should have ordered from Amazon even though the price was £10 more than purely gadgets. So moral of the story, is you have an extremely high level of patience and can watch at "processing" status for N number of days, only then order. Or else forget about it.

Stay Away From This Company - Avoid It At All Pric

Stay away from this company - avoid it at all price

I tried to buy Tokina lens with them twice. Rang them to confirm stock and after 2 weeks they told me there is a delay and package will be with me next week. This company ruined my holidays as I meant to take this lens as replacement of my current one.

Again I tried to order from them few month back and just to see what they will say

I placed an order on Tuesday

Rang them on Tuesday next week to see if they have it in stock and they confirmed 6 items. Please bear in mind I already ordered lens.

Week after (next day delivery paid in full) I had to email them to track my order and they told me that when I placed order it was out of stock and it will be with me next week.

Obviously they lie and they do not have most of items in stock. Bunch of liars and customer service is not even laughable.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Not Only Amazed When They Confirmed By Phone They

Not only amazed when they confirmed by phone they had the Apple i-pad 16mb in stock but the over-phone ordering process was both helpful and patient. Half expected an e-mail to say it would be delayed but no, had an e-mail to say it had been despatched and sure enough it was delivered express in about 36 hours! excellent service. Will review actual product after some use.

Although Purely Gadgets Have Responded To Each E-m

Although Purely Gadgets have responded to each e-mail I have sent, I have been totally disappointed with their customer service and have found the whole matter very frustrating. They have informed me that the box was opened to check the contents, however most people would not expect the box to have been opened, or more so, an item missing.

The matter is still not resolved - product purchased 5/2/08.

I Would Not Recommend Shopping With Purely Gadgets

I would not recommend shopping with Purely Gadgets. Lousy Delivery - they claim 2 - 5 days but I have not yet received what I ordered a week ago. Yesterday they told me that it would be with me before 5pm today. There order tracking system is no help, it says the goods are awaiting courier pick up and has said this for 3 days now.
