Terrible Attitude, Terrible Service. They Have Bee

Terrible attitude, terrible service. They have been getting bad reviews for years and yet nothing ever changes.

They have a practice of advertising vehicles on their site which seem too good to be true. Example in 2013: 05 Nissan Almera. 58,000 miles. Full service history. £3995. When we arrived to view it had a window price of £5495. I confronted the sales manager and it started. 'Oh that's the web master, he's always doing it. the best I can do is £4995'. During the brief meeting we were being constantly interrupted by the other salesman who were just laughing and joking with each other.

We just stood up and walked out.

If you enjoy hard selling tactics and being lied to then go here!

Do Not Ever Buy A Car From Here!!!!!!!

Do not ever buy a car from here!!!!!!! Deceiving! Recently purchased a used car from this dodgey outfit. From the start, the car was advertised for £500 less on their website yet i was told on no uncertain terms i had to pay the screen price of £500 extra. The car was advertised with 21, 374 miles with one owner from new and a full main dealer service history and sold to me on this basis upon getting the car home i noted it had actually covered 47, 836 miles. Some 25, 000 miles more!!!! I searched for the sercice book which was not in the vehicle or paperwork i received. It wasnt present. I therefore contacted the dealership and advised the main manager would contact me with regards to my complaint within the hour. 4 phone calls, 2 emails and 6 days later i finally received a call back. This person did not know anything about my complaint. They informed me they would get back to me. I asked for the manager to return my call but again he didnt and i received a call from a third person. I was told that the car actually came with no service history!!! And upon requesting compensation for the mileage discrepancy i was told that on no uncertain terms that i would not be receiving any money whatsoever. I therefore wrote a letter of complaint to the manager ( 5 weeks ago ) and have yet to receive a response. If all of the above was not already an extremely bad experience, when i received my v5 log book back from dvla the car has actually got 3 previous owners!!!! I have absolutely no trust or faith in this 'dodgey dealership' and have now sought asvice from trading standards. My advice to all is steer well clear of them.

Liars!

I purchased a car from them two years ago which was verbally agreed to be on a PCP agreement. Stupidly, I took their verbal word for this and signed the paperwork presented (seriously, who has the time to read terms and conditions of the documentation?). I was amazed to discover they had sold me the car on a personal loan with ME having to make the final balloon payment at the end!

I feel such a fool and can't believe I trusted their word!

I contacted the dealership to discuss the matter and was met with "you signed the paperwork so tough" by their finance manager. Despite already feeling stupid they compounded my misery with their brash attitude and lack of compassion.

I truly wish I had never walked through their door and would advise anyone considering a purchase from them to scope the market fully!

False Information

I was in the market for a new car and the reviews I read pretty much sold the Seat Leon to me. I had also looked online and found an online price that I thought was acceptable and states that the dealership was Swindon Motor Park. I was a cash buyer, no part exchange and wanted a car as soon as possible so I called and enquired about their online deals. Was told that the price was based on taking their finance as the discount came from their finance company which I found hard to believe. Turns out it was unbelievable as I called another local Seat dealer who were happy to match the price offered with no requirement for finance. Avoid like the plague!!

Do Not Buy A Car From Them!

This was my first experience of purchasing a car from a dealership and what a nightmare it was!

After much discussion by email and telephone with the female salesperson I decided to put a deposit down to secure a small car with 6000 miles on the clock on a Saturday. Later that day I received an email to say there had been bad news and the car actually had over 66,000 miles!! Apparently someone had read the TRIP reading and not total mileage.

I'm quite an understanding person normally but the fact the advert had *low mileage* emblazoned all over it just made me realise how shoddy they are!

Typically after that debacle I couldn't get through to the salesperson and the ineffectual receptionist kept fobbing me off with some lame excuses. I called on 4 occasions; first two came the excuses and then the next two they went to a message saying they were closed (even though this was way before the advertised closing time which was also confirmed earlier by the inept receptionist)

Luckily I did receive an email from the salesperson (suddenly she was receiving my emails and the receptionists messages after I threatened to take them to Trading Standards) confirming that they can refund but it wouldn't be until Monday..I held my breath and thankfully the money was returned that said day.

I've contacted the main office by facebook message and email but no reply to apologise for the hassle caused.

Please do avoid at all costs!

Should Be A Zero

I bought a Groupon voucher for an MOT here. It was a good deal, or so I thought. My MOT failed due to an exhaust problem and I was quoted around £300 to fix this. I know that a whole exhaust system would cost around this so I was a little suspicious. I declined the work and took the failure notice. I re-booked another MOT at Halfords autocentre, a reputable company, the next day. Low and behold I passed my MOT. The exhaust was an advisory due to a loose bracket but was told there was no urgency in getting it fixed. I was also quoted £100 to fix this including labour. I guess Motorparks thought a cheap groupon will get people in and then we can just lie and make money out of them and being female they probably thought I'd just say yes to the work. Absolute joke. DO NOT USE!!

Car Servicing Was A Disappointing Experience

Used a Groupon for MOT, 56 point check and a valet.

Car taken in at just after 8am and the MOT was done by 10 am. I had a phone call stating that there was an issue with some work needing done, when I asked if it was needed for the MOT I was told that it was not required in order to pass the MOT.

I declined the offer of the repairs they suggested. at about 3 pm I phoned them to ask if my car was ready and was told that it had not been valeted yet

so I said that I would come and pick it up.

No effort was made to valet it and there was no 56 point check carried out,

despite the fact that the car was there most of the day.

A very poor service from a main dealer

Just to add insult to injury, I then went to two different garages and was quoted a lot less for the work that they gave me a price for. Just as well I did not tell them to go ahead with the work as I would have been out of pocket by about £350

I would strongly advise against using this dealership.

Avoid Avoid Avoid. They Give U Broke Cars

I brought a second hand car from there. Drove it away and it had gone wrong from the start. It had a buckled wheel so driving it along m4 has been dangerous. When u call they don't beleive you. They fob you off everytime and never say sorry. I'm even going to local paper about it as I've had a car I can't drive from day 1. Avoid avoid avoid and tell every one to avoid like the plague x

Shockinglike Something From A Bad Movie

Live in Swindon and went to see a car after talking on phone. Car wasn't there nor were any of the others I had asked to see and was told were available. I was told that they were due in 'any time soon' but just put a non-refundable deposite down and all will be fine! After saying no thanks I left and heard sales manager say 'sod off' under his breath. Outside another customer having raging argument over a purchase that had gone very wrong! Avoid avoid avoid

Wonderful Experience

We heard bad things about Swindon Motor Park, but our experience was nothing short of fantastic. Our Salesman was very professional and nothing was too much trouble. The Manager gave us a great deal and a very informative service. We felt very comfortable the whole time, never pressured once and made to feel a valued customer, then a beautiful bouquet of flowers when we collected our new car topped it all off.

We would highly recommend this car sales to everyone. Competitors could learn a lot from Swindon Motor Park. Fantastic!!!!!!
