Unbelievable price for 6 days for a decent car. Lots of options for cars. Cost covers so many things - unlimited mileage extra driver etc.
I was aware before completing my booking, but double check whether it's a manual or automatic (description in small print), but it does clearly state either.
We have used this company before and found them easy to do with and having the courtesy bus is so helpful. Just make sure to have your ID, credit card and driving licence when you check in.

easy to book, insurance added makes the price not as cheap as it sounds as excess is very high should a accident happen, so from the price shown of 22 euros i ended up getting the same car for 117 euros, which is still a fairly cheap, but no worries as excess is zero

Can I take out an annual car hire excess cover for Europe through them please?
I have tried to cancel my booking but the link doesn't work. I understand that I am unlikely to be refunded for what I have already paid and selected to pay the remaining deposit at pick up. If I do not turn up to the pick up, will I be charged any additional money?

I am looking to book from Malaga for 10 days from 19/09-29/09 obviously will pay the extra to protect the excess. But what does that actually cover and what extra will Goldcar ask for when we pick up and does that fully protect the excess or are there exclusions?

Hi I have only used Do You Spain in Tenerife and I did not need any other documentation only driving license and passport. Do you Spain is a broker so it would depend on the company you go with. Never been asked and use a number of different companies.
I have taken out Platinum insurance with Do You Spain do I need to take out damage excess refund insurance as well? I do not have a credit card only a debit card and therefore need to avoid the 1200 deposit. Also if I take the extra insurance damage excess from Do You Spain will this suffice?

If the online cover is with somebody like icarhireinsurance.com, you are fully covered. Any car hire company abroad will try and sell you their insurance to bump up their profits. Be firm and politely refuse

If you have bought the extra insurance from Do You Spain you will not need to leave 900 euro. If the extra insurance is with any other company you will. The extra insurance is extremely expensive and can be obtained at a small fraction of the cost online. Hope this helps.
