Bad Experience.
Took my car to be valued on August bank holiday at the MK garage as wanted to sell by end of the week.
I was told I would be contacted the following day by 11am.
Tuesday morning - No call.
Wednesday afternoon had to call them to be fobbed off.
Thursday no promised call back from manager.
Sold car to a work colleague.
Messed about from start to finish by Evans H.
Will never buy from or recommend.Please don't make the same time wasting mistake.
Honesty would like to see this particular firm go under as they provide no customer service at all.

Absolute Rubbish Service
Initially I walked into the Evans Halshaw New Car showroom, where a friendly staff member told me that the used car centre was around the back.
After walking round to the used centre, there was no one there, not even on the forecourt.
After walking about and finding the car that I had booked an appointment for there was still no one around. Also the car I found was in poor condition, it was easily visible that the both bumpers had been replaced.
Finally I found a member of staff, who said they were busy with another customer.
Abosolute rubbish service, especially the staff member who is bald with a large amount of fake tan and dodgey teeth.

Called in to Evans Halshaw Milton Keynes regarding changing my car Looked around their forecourt and found one I could be interested in Member of staff looked at me but did not approach me 15 minutes later although staff were looking my way still no contact I went and asked if someone was available to discuss my requirements and was firmly told no one was available I remarked I had been there by now some 20 minutes but they were not interested i waited 5 more minutes and then left Suffice to say I will not visit this garage again and certainly will not reccommend this car dealership to any one

went in for a car valuation, staff were borderline rude, uninterested and flippant. still not had the appraisal come through. when called to inquire after 3 days was almost told off as the person who did the paperwork is on holiday and none of his colleagues have any access to the appraisal which I find very hard to believe.

Bought my car, travelled 40 miles, saw advertised on auto trader. Originally viewed black one, test drove it and it was clearly broken,not great for a 13k car, so drove the silver one, bought the silver one promised the world, was told would be available to pick up anytime I wanted, booked the whole day off instead of half a day,arranged 12pm on way, then get a phone call not ready till 4pm, when questioned his response was well you need to take the day as holiday anyway, although they advertise on the trader, they still hit yiu with additional administration cost of 99 quid and go though all the extras that you don't want, service was dreadful. Was promised the world, didn't deliver, only had car 3 weeks, needs oil, and service already terrible rubbing coming from the wheel arches, have tried to call multiple times now and never call back, well actually he had. Called back twice, and never returned my call again, now on holiday,

Not Even Worth 1 Star!! Terrible Overall
I found a Hyundai i20 100 miles away, paid £200 on the move closer scheme, was told 4-5 working days. Car arrived on day 5, the following day I went and paid cash for the car and told it would be ready in 2 days, Monday 9 May, literally 1 hour before I was told it wasn't ready but would be ready on the Friday as there was an issue after the mechanical checks! Today is the 19 May and my car is still not ready, I have been given a 4th date for collecting the car and if it's not ready I have already told them to give me a refund!! Absolutely poor service, I cancelled a service plan I got from there as I will never go back there!

They Never Call Back!!!!
My family were looking for a second hand reliable car, we had decided to go for a Renault scenic and searched the internet to get the best deal. This car appeared on one of the search sites and was around the same price as others but came from a "reputable" garage. I called them up put a holding deposit down over the phone and went up to see the car. It needed some work doing to it (MOT, Valet and some repair on one of the doors) but that was fine it was all noted and would be completed before completion of sale. Whilst on the test drive we noticed that the aircon was not working and therefore asked for this to be checked in their pre sale check they do and to get it re-gassed. A week later we get the call that the car is ready to go and has 12months MOT. After collecting the vehicle we were so happy that we had managed to get such a lovely looking car and from a garage as well. A few days later we tried the aircon and it didn't work but we thought nothing of it and initially were going to pay for the re-gas ourselves as we couldn't be bothered to drive all the way to Milton Keynes for that. Then the drivers side electric window stopped working and there was a slight vibration under the driving pedals. So i called the service center to book in for the window to be fixed the aircon to be re-gassed and the vibration to be looked at. 4hours later we are told that the window has been fixed but the aircon is not working because the condenser is broken and the vibration is due to something on the drive shaft that needs to be fixed. I am assured i will get a call back the next day to talk about the repairs needed. Needless to say (as you can see from the title) I was chasing for a call back for nearly two weeks, eventually i went to customer service with my complaint and i finally managed to get a call. I was told the car will be repaired but they had no loan cars available at the moment so i would get a call later in the next week with some dates........ Friday comes and still no call!!!! so after calling them again i am told that there are no loan cars for at least a couple of weeks...... I just don't understand why people cant just call you back when they say they will. I used to think Evans Halshaw was a good name you could trust but that has certainly changed. I am currently still waiting for a call about getting my car sorted and i will update once i know what is happening, i might just take the car back and get a full refund and go somewhere else.

Shocking Customer Service - Avoid At All Costs!
We placed a deposit for a brand new Ford Kuga at the end of Jan. We were told it would take 2-4 weeks. We are now in week 5 and they STILL cannot confirm when our car will be delivered. All they do is blame Ford - but they represent Ford! At no point have they bothered to call to update us - we are always the one to chase them. they claim that they are not advised which cars will be delivered and when.
This experience has totally put me off buying a Ford car and we will probably be looking elsewhere. Having read reviews about their after service too, I think it might be a blessing in disguise to go elsewhere!
