Disappointing Experience With Perry's Citroen Barnsley
I recently purchased a car from Perry's Citroen Barnsley, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. The car I bought turned out to have underlying issues, which were not disclosed during the sales process. Moreover, the warranty, which was emphasized as a reassurance, has proven to be a disappointment as well.
Despite being told that the warranty would cover any potential problems, it has become apparent that Perry's Citroen Barnsley fell short on their promise. The defective car and the subsequent issues we encountered have left us extremely dissatisfied with our purchase.
I would caution anyone considering buying from Perry's Citroen Barnsley to exercise caution and thoroughly inspect both the vehicle and the terms of the warranty before making any commitments. The trust we placed in their assurance has unfortunately been misplaced, and it's disheartening to find ourselves dealing with these avoidable challenges.

Perfect Van Purchase
Sitting at the computer at 9.30 on a Tuesday night, found the perfect vehicle so instantly submitted an enquiry via the Perrys website. You can imagine my surprise to receive a text minutes later from the Commercial Manager telling me that the office was closed but he’d be in touch the next morning.
He did make contact the following morning and came back to me to answer questions throughout the day even though he was actually not at work. Within the day we had a deal worked out and he had finance in place before 9am on Thursday morning.
It’s now Friday, the van is parked on my drive and I’m a very happy customer.
Thank you to the commercial manager for going above and beyond to make the purchase process so simple and straight forward. Your customer service was outstanding!

We were going to buy a car form Perrys Barnsley, took £100 to "save" the car , we did not get the car but did not get out £100 back for over 5 days, I had to keep ringing up, I was told I would be rung back , this never happened . they seem to have no proper system in place to return money? As soon as you sign on the dotted line then you are old customers and they want to get to the new ones as soon as. We have had a few cars before from this dealer and should have known better, but it's local to us. I would suggest they put a sign on the car like they do with houses , sold subject to contract then they would not have to take any money. They offer a very very poor amount of money if you PX . Example £1100 for a 07 disgrace.

This sounds like the norm for Perry's Barnsley! Oh how I wish I'd done my research before buying myself and my wife a car from there. I found the sales team ok, but the afterservice is disgusting. They even bodged a repair on my wifes car that ended up costing me £200 to get put right.
Lets hope enough local people see these reviews to stop them dealing with these cowboys.
Overall marks out of 10.....NONE!
Disgusting dealership that deserves to go under. I will NEVER deal with them again.

I Know Car Sales People Do Not Always Have The Bes
I know car sales people do not always have the best reputation but if you really want to meet the worst then go to this dealership! Rudeness and unprofessionalism has no bounds at this garage it sincereley is that bad. A good point? Oh the toilets were clean!! Avoid at all costs unless you would like to be treated as something that has come off a shoe.

was called and invited back for free post service check-up on which they found OVER £1000 of faults.
they appear to be more thorough with their check ups than they do with their services as two of the issues I feel should have been picked up on the service, especially as I requested a thorough check of the vehicle.

I would recommend going elsewhere. I took my car for a service and ended up paying out a small fortune. Get a second opinion, or better still do not go.
I agree very bad service in Mazda I was told the service manager in Mazda there is the bosses son..say no more , the after service in Vauxhall is the worst their female service manager was rude, nasty and I got no joy from her either I keopt calm and walked to the Citroen one sales manager very rude ..went and took my business elsewhere what a bunch of Monkeys
I bought a mazda Mx 5 from Perry.s costing 8 grand and within 3 months paid out over 2000 pounds in repairs and RUST treatment,this was done at another Mx 5 garage called MX 5 motors of Carcroft Doncaster who did a first class job....avoid Perry s at all costs.
