Shocking Service
The way my case was handled was appalling, staff were not responsive, no response was provided to my e-mails and phone calls, no proper quotation was provided, it was just a shocking experience for me. I never knew people could be so irresponsible and I think Stratstone branch is letting the brand name down

Absolutely awful experience with this branch. A whole catalogue of issues when I purchased my vehicle. They did not handle my complaint properly at all. Issues included a new dent appeared on the car on the day of collection, a wasted trip from Essex to Derby thereafter, as well an incorrect invoice which they never rectified. Took me months to get any response at all. Try calling them is a joke.
Head of Business was utterly useless. Arrogant and rude.
Avoid buying from here!!!! I have since dealt with another branch and told them about my shocking experience at the Derby store. They were not surprised!

No Valet On A Second Hand Car
So you purchase a 3 year old bmw from a so called premium dealer you expect it to be valeted? Not here, shift them in and out, filthy inside and 49 pro plus in the glove box. Terrible service, ignore you when you complain. Won’t be going back. The snooty type

Sent my car in for a check because of radio problem. I've booked the pick up and delivery service where they will pick up my car and sent to garage, and sent it back to me when done. Not only they were 2 hours late picking up, the radio was not fixed. They also promised cleaning the car inside out, but that was not done. To top it off, they returned the car with the handbrake was off. Luckily the car didn't even roll down the driveway!

This dealership now is just after hitting targets. They will promise you everything but once got your money you will do well if you can get in contact with used car sales team or there managers which are also a waist of time especially the person I dealt with! They sell cars with problems and then try to get warranty to pay and now there getting wise to this, you will be told sorry on this occasion there is nothing they can do as it met there standards which you can not find and they will not tell you. Read the many many bad reviews and do your self a big favour and go elsewhere. Not be long before BMW shut this place down..! You have been warned !
Appalling Customer Service
Only giving one star as there is no option for zero stars. Drove all the way from Manchester to test drive a specific BMW X1 that had been arranged with a sales consultant.
The Consultant was not there when we arrived. When he finally showed up we advised that the car was not on site, but was with a colleague and they would bring it to the dealership.
After waiting further, we were advised that the car was actually in Birmingham and would be unavailable for test drive as previously agreed.
A complete was of time and money. Will never deal with Stratstone again

Beware! They Sell Cars With Faults!
I bought one 5 series failed 3 miles down the road
Then after many dealer visits bmw stratstone 'kindly ' offered to change my car I was unaware they added another 2 grand on top of my original 2 grand negative equity loan doubling payments and selling me another car which has also failed 4 times at 26000miles! Even tho the car was faulty on day one they tricked me into taking a more expensive deal I e had nothing but trouble- and the staff turnaround is so fast you never can keep up who dealing with you and never get responses to emails as staff are always leaving!

Went to BMW today as I am a student doing my dissation on aftersale services provided in the premium car sector. I was greeted by reception who I made clear to that all I would like is some pictures of the showroom/offices and brochures to quote as I didn't want to take up a sales person's time. The receptionist disappeared to ask someone to come back and tell me no but look online- the reason I drove into Derby was because I have looked online and it wasn't good enough or unclear! I am a student the first thing we do is online!!!
I wouldn't have minded if it was busy but based on the fact it was 16:20 and 4 people ask me if I was okay made it clear you weren't.

Made an appt. to service my car. They followed this up with a confirmation text for 9.30am appt. Arrived at 8am due to possible traffic problems. Met by a nice bubbly receptionist who made me a cup of coffee. Met a lady in service, who was very efficient and professional, new 218i courtesy car was waiting for me, away by approx. 8.30am. Given 5pm time for car to be ready. Telephoned 3pm to see if car was ready which was still being serviced, decided to beat the rush and arrived early at approx. 4pm and as I walked through the door, I was greeted with a "car is now ready". So, all in all a good experience, hence the 5 stars
