Alldrive / All West Rv: Don ' T Ever Go With This
Alldrive / All West RV: DON ' T EVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!
We rented a van at Alldrive in August 2010 (at Langley, where that monstrous Edith works). It was a beautiful RV, but several things were wrong with it (tanks flooded while not even half full, aircondition attached on the roof inside the vehicle was leaking badly (Luckily we didn ' t get any electric shocks), the tap was leaking, the table collapsed several times, and the list goes on, and on, and on '
We made a list with all these inconveniences, so that is could be fixed for other people. We also wanted to ask some money back, because we paid alot for that van while many things weren ' t functioning properly. We gave Edith the list and asked her to make a deal.. That woman went totally mad. She called us liars, denied that there was anything wrong with the van, said we made it all up, etc. I mean, what kind of person are you? How can she co-run a company?? (Now I hear that Alldrive is bankrupt, doesn ' t surprise me at all..)
Then the deposit of $1000 'Together with another Dutch couple (we are also Dutch), we informed our banks about the situation (ING, also known in Canada) and they would organise an inspection at Alldrive, if we wouldn ' t get our deposits back. The four of us called and emailed with Alldrive, claiming to receive our deposits. Alldrive (Doreen this time) went mad, said that they always hold back the money of the deposits for at least a week, so they can pay repairs on the vehicles (does that make any sense??) But finally, after 10 days, we received our deposits! So it ' s not impossible, just inform your bank/creditcard company and threat them with inspection. No wonder Alldrive is bankrupt! I heard that they operate under a different name: All West RV. Once again: DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! Those scammers have to be stopped!

Unfortunately We Had An Accident With A Fuel Pump
Unfortunately we had an accident with a fuel pump at a gas station. We had to forfeit our deposit as well as another $800. It seems that the insurance does not cover this. Within two days of us returning home I had an email from Alldrive informing me that the cost of repair to the pump was more than expected so they took another $1200 or so from my credit card without permission. The vehicle was in a poor condition inside, seating dirty and smelly and many other faults, too many to mention here. It was so uncomfortable that we spent our second week in hotels. Looks like they are trading under a different name, but don't be fooled, stay away from this company.

Doreen Wilner Was President Of Alldrive, Who Went
Doreen Wilner was president of Alldrive, who went bankrupt.
Alldrive had a patern of not refunding deposits. So she made dozens of customer victim of her criminal business.
Now she is member of management of the new born company AllwestRV.
I can only say, don't do business with this company or you are the next one who will lose money to this "lady". She should be in jail!

we had so much trouble with alldrive and also the problem with the refund.
they will never give you the money back.
you all should write as fast as you can a claim to your creditcard company. this is the only way. it's a long way, but it is worth it!
they never gave us an answer as well and so the only way is the claim.
in our case it worked out, so do it and don't wait to long, cause they will never give you the money back.
and as long as you wait, it will be more difficult for the creditcompany.
we had so much trouble because of this company and I hope one day they will never have customers again! this is kind of crime!

We Returned Our Rv To Alldrive On The 30th Septemb
We returned our RV to Alldrive on the 30th September and were owed, once the final invoice had been completed on checkout, $582.82. This was the refund of our $1000 security deposit less some deductions for excess kilometres. Alldrive had already processed the $1000 at the beginning of the hire and it had been charged to our account. After 6 days we had not received our refund and I queried the fact with the company. We were informed that they would take another look at the invoice as we had suffered a few problems with the unit. Presumably they were still trading at this point. When that credit did not appear on my account they then informed us that operations had been suspended due to actions of a 3rd party. I agreed to give them a few weeks to sort out their problems but then communication stopped.
I subsequently found out that Alldrive enquiries were now being routed to another company All West RV which had just been set up, with the same person being shown as Administrator. When I eventually received communication from Alldrive it was to advise me to claim the monies owed from my Visa company.
My complaint is that the company retained my security deposit for at least 6 days without processing it " and then the company was shut down. They have not given an explanation for that.

We Are A Retired Elderly Couple From South Afri
We are a retired elderly couple from South Africa who saved for a holiday with our family in Vancouver in September, 2010. We hired a motor home in September from
Alldrive Canada in Langley, Vancouver. They did not return our $1056.00 security deposit despite saying it would appear on our credit card the next day. After many emails and phone calls we would like to take this matter further . Any suggestions would be helpful.
If I had Googled them before I would not have this problem.
We have discovered thro' the internet that this is a regular occurance they have been carrying out since 2006. Foreign visitors have not had their deposits returned.

We have learnt that they are no longer trading as Alldrive Canada but as AllwestRV and are taking bookings on the Alldrive website and replying as Allwest RV. They then ask for a deposit either with a credit card or bank transfer. I have proof of this! (see copy of emails for a "booking")
We contacted ******* *******, who is listed as President of both companies, and asked for our money back. (See copies of email between us and them)No response to date.
I have since been informed that Alldrive is bankrupt and under receivership. I believe that Alldrive Canada has been taken over by Cam Clark Ford, in Calgary, and the name has been changed to All WestRV.
As new owners of Alldrive/AllwestRV (Cam Clark Ford) we feel they should be held responsible to refund outstanding monies.
Our main concern is that Company is still allowed to trade, take deposits, bookings.
This experience with Alldrive has created a bad image for trade and tourism in Canada. Hoping for some positive response.

STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND BEEN 9 WEEKS NOW DOES ANYBODY NO IF THIS COMPANY HAS GONE BUST IF SO WHO CAN I CONTACT THERE NOT RELYING AND THE UK REP PHONE LINE HAS BEEN DISCONECTED DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY
We had exactly the same problem following a rental in September.
Received the following mail from Alldrive:
"The company is going through financial problems due to a dispute with the building owner and zoning and we have had to close the office. Therefore we have limited access to our records and communication. We are working through lawyers but it is taking much longer than expected. At present there is no possibility of accessing funds to refund you, although you may be able to recover the amount via your credit card company. We understand this is causing problems for our customers but our hands are tied."
We contacted the fraud department at our credit card company. They sorted the issue and the deposit was returned this week.
Suggest that you try the same.

I Returned Our Rv In August And They Owed Me About
I returned our RV in August and they owed me about $1200. I called them in September and October and they said the money would be returned immediately. It still has not. Now they are no longer answering their phones so i'm afraid they are going out of business. This would explain why they aren't returning money owed to myself and numerous others either. Not sure if there is much we can do if they are in fact out of business....any one out there actually get there money back recently?
