Hired a car for a week in Ibiza in October. Met promptly at the airport, Depot was close by, first class service, lovely car and no problems whatsoever either on collection or return. Highly recommended

Hipercars do a good job of providing a car. However, you need to be aware that they do not pre-authorise the card payments but take full payment and then refund in Euros.

This means that you will need to pay an additional 6-7% on your card for the deposit and refund of the deposit if your car is not a Euro card. You will pay the visa rate + 3 to 3.5% as a handling charge on both the payment and the refund. This is not an industry standard to take payment and then refund. Other car suppliers will pre-authorise the card. You need to be aware that you are going to end up paying more than you would from other car rental companies.

I rang Hipercars about this anomoly and basically they told me that this is they way that they operate. So good luck with that

Collected the vehicle from the offices in Cala'n Bosch, staff were polite and informative. Informed of the deposit plus 70 euro's for a full tank and told this was not refundable. The contract stated that if the car was returned full and filled from a garage 5km away and a receipt provided it was refunded. Not informed by the staff that you could use the pumps at the port which is less than 5kms, I did after I found this information prior to returning the car. The vehicle was not checked over on collection or return with a member of staff as they only seemed worried about major damage but I photographed it as a matter course. When the vehicle was returned the staff accepted my proof of refuelling and signed my copy of the contract stating I had returned the car in the same condition as I had hired it. Following this experience I would use Hiper if I visited Menorca again.

Pre filled information online ready for pick up at airport off-site office. Pick up at airport and transfer to Hiper offices quick and simple. Pick up took 10 mins and we were on our way.

Returning car was just as simple and smooth. Refund for fuel deposit was in my account on 2nd day after return from Mallorca.

We hired a FIAT Panda at Mallorca airport for a week. Very reasonable price. We upgraded to zero liability for 6€ a day for our peace of mind.

The free shuttle service is efficient and both the pickup and delivery of the car were smooth.

The ony complaint we have, are the obsolete child chairs they give you. Definitely not very trustworthy in case of a serious accident. They should invest in seats of reputable brands instead of giving out seats that just serve the legal obligation to place your toddler in one of those. Next time I'll consider in bringing our own maxi cosi.

We have just rented a car from Hiper car rentals in Cala D'Or, Majorca. We were a little concerned by the reviews we'd read but found our experience perfect.

The girls in the office were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The rental car was almost new and the whole process was easy and straightforward.

I booked to rent from this group for 4 days, I made a mistake online when booking and only paid for one day. When I went to drop off despite advertising 4 days for €82 they charged us €165 for 3 days. They could easily have charged us the rate we paid x extra 3 days but the choose to completely rip us off. Don't use this company !

Arrived after midnight, minibus collected us from the massive airport, arrived at Hiper offices, we were greeted by a very efficient lady who advised we had been upgraded to a Skoda Fabia 1.2 from a Corsa. What a fab car, plenty of grunt and power, took us all around Mallorca, no problems whatsoever. Arrived back a week later, everything went amazingly easily. Will use Hiper again without any doubt.

Although not on the airport itself the transfer was quick and easy - a minibus was waiting and left within a few minutes of me getting onboard. The whole pick up process took less than 30 minutes which was faster than several of the on site rental companies I have used before - it was great not to have to wait in a lengthy queue to be dealt with. I booked direct via the Hiper website and got a great deal. I took out the additional Hiper Plus Insurance which was cheaper than similar upgrade policies from other car rental companies. I am pleased I did because unfortunately whilst the car was parked the bumper was damaged whilst I was away. I felt bad returning an almost new car that had been provided in excellent condition with scratches on it. However I was impressed that the lady who dealt with me was efficient, understanding and did not make me feel uncomfortable about what had happened. I cannot fault any aspect of the service provided and was very pleased with the Opel Corsa they provided.I would highly recommend Hiper to anyone looking for car hire in Majorca.
