from road test of my used vw golf to collectionn a week later the service and staff where excellent, well worth the trip from my home in chesterfield. would reccomend to anybody seeking a new or used car from this branch.THANKS

I arrived at the dealership with buying a new VW in mind and left empty handed, why ?

As you walk around the somewhat small court yard of cars no-one seems to approach you or show any signs of interest that you could potentially be spending 10000s that day. So to check that there hasn't been a zombie apocalypse on your journey, you have to physically enter the showroom...Clever !! Well not really. I wandered around the car I was after when FINALLY someone decided they could be arsed, no handshakes or warm welcome though just a quick "are you alright there sir". I turned to the "salesman" (I use this term very loosely) and said I would interested in taking finance or leasing this car however I have been looking at other competitors cars. Silence, the "salesman" hadn't a clue what to do. So I explained the cars and offers I had seen. "Not possible" was the response, I showed him the ads and he seemed very threatened, insulted and acted very rude that I would dare buy another car "Should I even bother showing you the car or do you want this one". Does this guy even want to sell me the car ?! (oh I wasn't even offered a coffee or tea before you ask) Service began to drop due to stupid questions, I explained I was after the best offer and looking to buy in March time to which his response was "why are you looking now then" By this point I pretty much had enough, and decided to say goodbye and not buy one, they well and truly put me off buying a VW. Once again no handshake or thanks for coming. There where far too many low points of this dealership to state in this review but I would not recommend it.
