Disappointed
Second time turned up for an appointment to be told I have not got appointment, they need to make sure staff know how to make an appointment, when you have struggled through traffic to get there.

Didn't Like The Male Stylist
I had a lovely hairdresser who was doing a brilliant job, the man who works in there who goes by the name of Norman was a complete bully. He kept coming over and interfering telling the girl how to do it better and having digs... When in fact I thought she done a better job! I wouldn't normally write reviews but I was horrified by the way I heard one of the other women in charge speak to the girl who done my hair. I was embarrassed for her and it made me as a customer feel completely uncomfortable. They need to learn how to treat their staff better and not have a go at them on the shop floor for everyone to see. I'm a business owner myself and wouldn't dream of doing anything like this. It's extremely unprofessional. As for my hair, the hairdresser done a brilliant job and I would love to have my hair done by her again... Just not in this salon.

Not Happy
I visited Options hairdressing asking for blonde highlights and came out brunette.. I am so upset and angry.. I mean I showed a very blonde hair colour and my hair is nowhere near that.. Avoid at all costs!!

Just Not Worth It
I went into this hairdressers as I was recommended by a friend having moved from out of the area. Upon entry the space seemed nice and the staff friendly, however the clarity of service I received seemed muddled by the stylist I saw. I'm used to having a sharpe haircut and the stylist I had was unable to do so, it's simply not wearable no matter how much I try to dry it into it usual place. There was also an issue with price, it had been a little over 4 months since I last saw a hairdresser ( because of the move....stressful!!!!) and required more than 8 weeks growth off so was charged more (for a restyle) even though it was the usual length. Regardless of how nice the people were, I felt it was impersonal (the haircut doesn't suit my needs) and overpriced considering the end result. Maybe I should have checked some reviews beforehand to get an idea of what I was running into, it could have been worse but I'm not going back.

This Is A Hairdressers That Has Lost Its Personal
This is a hairdressers that has lost its personal touch. I started using Options 4 years ago. For the last 5 visits, I've been disappointed and have now found another salon. The first few visits resulted in me paying for 3 different colours even though I could only see one and other visits I was charged for a restyle even though I've had the same hairstyle for several years now. I was also charged £75 for a wedding hair trial. The appointment was 40 minutes and I felt that I was the hairdresser coming up with the ideas - even though that was what I was paying a stylist for. Nevertheless, £75 was extortionate to put my hair in a few clips - a pair of scissors didn't make it near my head!
I also received an email on a Monday informing me of a 50% discount for a Friday cut and colour so booked the appointment for my mother (who was visiting from abroad). They weren't able to warrant the appointment because one of the named stylists was on holiday - why email to inform people of a special offer and then not provide holiday cover? On explaining my disappointment, the best they could do was give me an appointment with another stylist (who was much more expensive) and give me 30% off - leaving my Mum out of pocket still!
