They are very friendly and go out their way to help you,

They got me a great deal on finance and even lent my son a curtesy car while his was being serviced

I don't understand the bad reviews???

I am very happy with them

I have only given this company one star because there is no option to give no stars at all. These charlatans have consistently lied to myself and my daughter throughout our miserable time dealing with them to the point that I had another trained mechanic re-do their work and presented them with the paperwork evidence. In my mind they have put my daughter's life at risk with their shoddiness and that is unforgiveable. Wish I'd never set eyes on them, good riddance. How on earth this company are still in business is beyond me when I've seen plenty of hardworking, honest people go under in the last couple of years - makes you wonder.

BE WARNED This company of CROOKS changed there name in October 2012 from Motorcare cars, to Approved Cars in order to avoid paying their debts. They sold me a badly faulty car and promised a refund. They kept the car AND the money. They owe me £3400. STAY AWAY and buy that car elsewhere - these people are very BAD news.

This guy is astonishing he rips people off with the mostly useless piles of rubbish he can get his hands on, and when you come back after him he simply shuts up shop, and starts all over again under a new name. I would strongly advise anyone vaguely thinking about purchasing a car from this complete out & out conman, DON’T DO IT, DO NOT LET HIM HAVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! He will sell you a worthless pile of junk, and you will the have a lengthy battle trying to retrieve your money YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

I brought a golf convtible from this dealer. It was cheap and in good condition. I found the staff helpful and would recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase a second hand car.

I have had an atrocious experience with Blackfen Sales and Service Centre. The car we purchased broke down within a week of purchasing and has not run properly since. The first time we had a repair completed the mechanic did not put the car back together properly and left loose pieces in the engine compartment. Luckily I checked on it before I left. The mechanic was fired, but the outside mechanic that they ended up using could not diagnose the remaining issues despite other garages being able to tell us that the headgasket was the source of the problem. Blackfen refused to believe that was the cause.

We finally took the car to a OFT registered, Bosch certified garage who told us that the headgasket was fitted so poorly that they were more than willing to write a statement outlining the damage that the poor work had caused. I have been trying at length to get the owner of Blackfen to own up to the poor quality work, but he has stopped communicating with me.

Please do not give Blackfen any business; it is not worth the experience that is becoming the standard on here.

I personally found all the staff to be helpfull throughout the process. MOT was arranged and sorted, aswell as full valet before collection, agreed to late collection, beyond their closing time.

I would recommend to anyone even vaguely considering purchasing a vehicle from this company to forget it. The use of the word 'service' should be removed from this company's title, as this is an alien concept to these people. Rogue Traders could run a week long special on this company as they treat their customers with total & utter contempt. If this is how Blackfen Sales & Services ( Ha Ha, sorry, it's the use of the word 'Service', it get's me everytime !) run a business, I personally wouldn't trust them to run a bath. I wouldn't recommend them to Sadam Hussain, let alone my wosrt enemy. You have been warned!!!!!!!!!

I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing a used Car to keep well away from this Car dealer! I have been completely ripped off by this car trader, and am currently pursuing a very stressful court battle in order to get my money back. I bought a used vehicle, which packed up after only three weeks, and then discovered it did not actually have the warranty for which I had paid. The dealer is incredibly uncooperative and very aggressive, and has no interest or concern for any after sales care. My advice is to definitely look elsewhere, and keep your distance from Blackfen Sales & Service Centre.
