Abismal Experience

I am usually a regular at rush Moorgate until this evening. I was told it was 50% off highlights when I booked over the phone only to be charged full price after my cut. My hairdresser was inexperienced and put the wrong toner on my hair and so I had to have it washed again. When paying and asking for a discount the manager was incredibly rude and questioned why!? The worst hair dressing experience I have ever had. Will not be going back.

So Disappointed - Really Let Down

So disappointed in Rush Moorgate! I purposely booked a session for a cut and highlights as I am getting married NEXT WEEK! I told them I was allergic to formaldehyde when I booked so can’t be near a Brazilian blow dry, and they promised accommodate me, but they just called to tell me they have ignored me, and basically cancelled the appointment.

I am travelling on Thursday (to get to my WEDDING)! What am I going to do!

I was relying on Rush Moorgate to stick to their word!

Not A Good Haitcut , Quite Upsetting

I had my haircut. I have never been to this saloon before . I explained to her that I need exactly the same haircut . I didn't have a haircut for a month and my hair is longer . I have a long hair which is longer at the back and a bit shorter and lighter near the face. She did exactly on the opposite : my hair is shorter at the back now and longer by the face, which doesn't suite my face type. When I asked her to make hair shorter on front , she refused to do so by saying that it will not look good , you can call someone if you are not happy". I didn't want any stress and just left. Never going to go back again , at least not to this stylist

Amazing

I went to rush Moorgate as I was recommended by my friend. I had amazing experience the stylist I had looked after me and done a lovely colour and cut. I would highly recommend this salon..I will be definitely going back.

100% Recommended!

I have very fine hair and it is very hard hair to cut and still keep some sort of weight in it. My dream was to have long thick hair but unfortunately the reality seemed very far out of reach.. Until I met Josh!! Josh works in Rush Moorgate and although I originally booked for my usual cut and blowdry after talking his ear off for an hour an half he recommended me a way to have my dream hair and that would be in extensions. I was sceptical at first where my hair is very fine and had heard they damage your hair, he reassured me that done professionally with the right hair that this was not the case!

3 months later with still a full head of hair and not a bit of damage I still feel amazing and my hair is growing so long underneath.

I see josh every 6-8 weeks for my maintenance and I shall not be going anywhere else.

Best Hairdressers And Great Value

I always go here as my stylist always does my hair exactly how I want and also since we've built up a rapport everytime I go I get exactly what I want but also tips on trying new things that do suit me. All the staff are always friendly and welcoming, I've never been there and felt uncomfortable like you do in a lot of other salons in London!

Would definitely recommend going!!

Absolute Cons Do Not Rush To Go There

I went to rush in Moorgate today (13th June). I booked a day before after receiving a text on 50% off any one hair service. when I booked I asked how much will that be, he said £49 so half price will be £25. when entering the store I said I have an apt for a wash cut and blowdry, when I paid I was told it will be £89. I said I was told it was £25 after discount. they than said I had booked a blow dry and not a wash and cut, but they were happy to cut my hair and make me pay for a consultant, then most expensive for a trim. I then had to pay £44.50. I have used rush many times and this was my worst experience and it has left me upset. I called customer services and did not receive a call back, I then called back again and was told the lady has gone home sick, no call back to tell me this. whilst I was happy with my haircut I wouldn't go back.

Poor Hairdressing And Worst Customer Service Ever

Hi all,

As a customer that has been going to hairdressers all my life, I would recommend to avoid this salon. My hairdresser first words to me, even before she said hello, were i dont have time to do what you want done, so either you rebook or i do something similar (apply 1 colour, instead of colour and highlights), i agreed to one colour because i wasnt that bother. During this session she kept on sream-talking to her colleagues, asked me four times if I wanted wine, instead of a 20-25 mins blow dry session she left to attend another customer, left me with a junior, came back and said it was done after 10 mins. I complaint that the hair still felt wet and she honoured me with an extra 2 mins of blow-dry, she kept on talking about herself, and gave me the hard-sales speech of their products by the till, without making eye contact ...!

Forget about this salon and their discounts, no worthy. It was the worst service received ever!
