October 2009 I was looking for a large strong multi airbagged estate car in Ebay and Autotrader. I came across a small garage in Winsford where they had a 2002 1.8 Nissan Primera Estate for sale.

Went to look at it. No pressure or pushing from the proprietor. Went a quick drive around the block in it. Everything ok. Stepped out and noticed a small hole in rear lamp cluster. Quite an expensive part on this car but Tony immediately offered to replace it. He would have replaced the cambelt for me too had we not both realised at the last minute it was chain driven. Also did an oil change for me. The lamp cluster was a bit slow arriving but not his fault. He then delivered the car half way to my house (I met him in Knutsford).

A day or so later I offered him my 2002 Citroen Berlingo to purchase. A bit of haggling and he gave me a good price. About £300 less than an Ebay sale but I wanted it out of the way fast.

So here we are. I seem to have the knack of finding ok garages to buy from. Mind you, I do know what I'm looking for and always head for bonnet-up first. Worth a look there if you are in Cheshire I'd say, although very small amount of stock.
