My sister placed a deposit of a Ford Focus registration LV67 MZG which is still for sale whilst writing this review.

We turned up to collect the car and on inspection I noticed that the near side door does not line up with the wing, also the near side front wing does not line up with the bonnet, we checked the back of the car and to my utter amazement noticed painters masking tape just hanging down from the rear offside wheel arch, and last of all on all four wheels they had left masking tape on the valves indicating that they had just been sprayed with a can of car spray which in a short time will peel and flake.

We went in and spoke to the sales man (Nas) who had been dealing with this sale and asked if this car had ever been in accident and his reply, “no not at all”, we asked him to come and check what we had just found and although he made out he was shocked he was more embarrassed than anything.

Obviously, my sister did not follow through with the purchase of this car.

I think its wrong that they are still trying to sell this car knowingly that it has been crashed damaged and clearly has been involved in an accident, someone who does not know much about cars will part with their hard earned cash for a car which should be valued a lot less than it is.

I cannot comment on any other of LMC cars and maybe they are all ok but this car in particular, people should avoid at all costs.

Purchased a car for my son who is close to passing his test. I haven't dealt with used car salesmen in years, very impressed. They really did go the extra mile making sure everything was perfect.

Recently Purchased a Ford Fiesta from LMC Cars, I Phoned up and spoke to a salesman who helped me through every stage and answered all of my questions, he showed me round the car and said he would put a full Mot on the car before hand and have it valeted, picked the car up Tuesday morning and everything was done and all ready to go, a few signatures later and i was on the road, couldn't be happier.

It seems they are running a scheme of damaged vehicles. They polish it and sell it off to people.

How it works that they keep the car in a small store rooms with little area to manoeuvre around to see the car. It is under bright lights (halogen) so any difference of colour you cant make out. They leave a small scratch or two so you can think everything is genuine and they are not covering anything.

Now you ask for test drive and as car is struck they say you come on a further date. Now in the meantime their agent try to cox you of a deposit with a assurance that it can be returned if you don't like car on test drive.. If you are unlucky than you can give the deposit as they convince you that if you don't like test drive than your deposit can be returned back.

Now you go for test drive, either you can see the damage and say you don't want car so they will try to keep your deposit or you come out with a damaged car.

This is a review of LMC, not the car itself. I found the car at LMC West Thurrock by browsing Parker's. It was being offered at book price, and looked good with reassuring details of paperwork it came with. But I wanted to see it for myself, so visited on a Saturday morning. The car was already made accessible for me, and I was given as long as I wanted for inspection purposes. I returned to the salesman and was shown the documentation and service history as advertised - no discrepancies or exaggeration, everything was as had been stated in the advert. We agreed a part exchange figure, and they offered to deliver the car and take away my old one from my home address. I explained that as I'd kept my last car for 17 years I was a bit rusty when it came to covering off MOT, insurance, DVLA registration, residents parking permit, etc, and they talked me through everything. I decided I'd like the reassurance of an AA pre-sale inspection - no problem, they said, and I paid a reasonable deposit to secure the car. The report came back clear a couple of days later. We confirmed the purchase price, I paid up, and the delivery took place at an agreed time - car in immaculate condition. I cannot fault this service and am a very satisfied customer.

I saw the car on Autotrader, phoned LMC and spoke to someone who promised to call me back – and he did within the hour. He was very helpful and answered any questions regarding the car and put my mind at ease. On arriving at LMC, I was made welcome and the car was exactly as it had been described to me, and was in excellent condition with all the relevant paperwork and documents. He was friendly and professional and enabled the deal to progress smoothly. This is one of the best used car dealers I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with many. I would definitely recommend LMC to other potential car buyers, and would have no hesitation about buying another car from them myself even though I have a journey of nearly 200 miles.

I saw the car on the internet phoned lmc, when I arrived to view the car it was prepared to a very high standard and ready for a test drive. very friendly service, done the deal and took the car same day with no problems at all. a very friendly and helpful company would highly recommend to everyone looking to buy a car

Just popped in to look at one car with my daughter and we all fell in love with a fiat pinto.3 years old but looking and smelling like New.great service all round,especially from the person I dealt with .finance, insurance and road tax all sorted in under an hour and we drove the car away.fantastic.thanks again LMC

I bought a car from here last week, I found the sales staff very knowledgeable and helpful, I have bought many cars over the years and this was the easiest and best value for money, will definitely be coming back in the future.

after reading a couple of bad reviews i was a bit skeptical about going to lmc,but i have to say i was pleasantly surprised...the head sales man was extremely helpful, i was shown the car i wanted to look at and left to take my time to look round it which was a breath of fresh air as the dealer i had been before was virtually standing next to me the whole time which made me feel slightly uncomfortable,i eventually bought a nice 1 series bmw and on the day of picking it up i phoned up the person I dealt with and told him that i couldn't come and pick it up as my daughter was ill so with out asking him, he spoke to the owner and he arranged to deliver it to me, i couldn't of asked for a better service..thank you.
