Overcharging
I went to do a regrowth tint and cut and blow dry last week and I left a 10 pound tip and found out after paying that they charged me an extra 18pounds besides the tip. Iended up paying 160 pounds in total. Can you imagine? I was upset after going home and called back and was told yea 8 pounds for using more colour even though i always do the colour there and I never pay more and then an extra 10 pounds as my hair took longer time. They didnt even tell me they will charge me more or explain. I was upset but realised it was my fault for not asking.
I went again today and decided to call before I go and I asked about the price of the blow dry. I was told its 35 pounds.
After i finished my hair the lady told me its 45 pounds because they used tongs to curl your hair. I did not use tongs and I always do my hair there( without extras) and now its quite short and takes less time.
I paid it but felt really upset. Such unprofessional and uncredible attitude.
I go almost every week and always pay a tip.Why lose a loyal customer?
I really dont understand why you treat customers this way.
So so upset.
Lack Of Regard For Customers
Booked an appointment, waited 15 minutes in the salon only to be then told there is no water and I cannot be served. What a waste of time and lack of regard for customers.

Rush Richmond
I'm disappointed but after two years of giving this salon my custom I won't return.. I find the upselling relentless and I can only imagine the salon manager puts pressure on the hair stylists to push additional treatments and products but it does make the whole experience quite tiresome.
I did really like the woman who did my hair despite this and wanted to tip her so gave a £20 note to the manager at the till saying I wanted to leave the stylist £10 - the stylist was standing beside her. She handed me back my change and put £10 straight into the cash register rather than hand it to the woman it was meant for. What the hell is this practice ???? Does Rush actually have the bare faced cheek not to hand over tips? I am disguised. I said pointedly to the stylist that I had just left £10 for her but I doubt it will end up in her pocket - maybe the share tips amongst all the staff at the end of the day but that's not what I instructed with my money.
Awful. I will never return.

They Do Not Listen - I Do Not Recommend!
I went in armed with pictures, making it clear what I wanted. I wanted a fun bob with long straggles at the front and cute waves. My hair originally sat on my shoulders so there was more than enough length to do this. I also wanted a side sweeping fringe that's longest part was just below my cheekbone.
What I got was a mess. No long bits at the front, a fringe that maybe was side swept but was much shorter that I had clearly asked for and falls too short to my bottom lashes. It looked more like a frumpy bad cut. My cat could have done better.
What annoyed me more, was the attitude of the manager. Clearly no expert in handling a customer that wasn't happy, all she could reply was 'we work with what we are given. If the length isn't there...' Personally, I'd fire her. The length was there until the hairdresser who 'yea yea, I know what you want' and then continued not to listen and do her own thing had actually cut off that length when she was thinning my hair.
Worst hairdressers ever, kept saying if you'd like to come back and we can cut this shorter! Seriously! When they've already done it too short in the first place, and not listened, whatever makes them think that this would resolve anything!
Amazing Salon!
I've been going to rush regularly for years, all staff are friendly and really make you feel welcome, I'm always extremely happy with my hair, never had a problem, the stylists are very professionals, they are really helpful with recommending the correct products to use on your hair. They do there absolute best to make sure there clients are happy. I highly recommend.
Love This Salon!
I regularly go into this salon, the girls are lovely and the results are always amazing! Would recommend to anyone.
Hair Stylist Marina Moroz
When I came to salon Rush in Richmond, I had excellent service and beautiful hair colour and style. Stylist Marina Moroz has done very good job. I am going to recommend her to my friends, as the Best stylist.

Not What You Ask For
hairdresser did a complete different thing to what I asked for. wrong colour wrong style wrong haircut and stank of smoke. Literally the worst hair dresser I have ever had at an extortionate price

Unexpected Charges
Had my hair coloured , no conditioner treatment, no cut and blow dry , no buying one of their shampoos ........ £114. I was shocked,!!!
They have a habit of secret conversations behind the reception desk.
BEWARE - a rough blow dry after a colour costs £5, if I had known I would of insisted they dry it properly, or done it myself.

Do Not Go To This Hairdressers. First O
Do not go to this hairdressers.
First of all they coloured my hair. I asked for them to get rid of the dip dye at the ends and make my hair all one colour. They recommended me a full head of highlights - with their 'expertise' I trusted this. Now I realise it was probably because it was the most expensive thing to do on the list.
After spending a long time colouring, the girl stopped doing my hair and started on the girls next to me. I had paid £115 (before hand may i add) for a service as well, did she not know I was there? If they couldn't have done my hair, or they were busy - they should have turned me away. After sitting there for a long time, she checked my hair.. and told me that someone will meet me to rinse it out.. this was after 2 hours. They rinsed my hair and advised to put a toner in it. The other girl left me with the toner in whilst she had a smoke out the back.
After what seemed like a long time, the girl (who was polite) came back. Rinsed the toner out and sat me down and left me whilst my hairdresser was doing another persons hair. I sat there for a while and then someone else came back and started cutting my hair. I saw the colour hwne the towel was taken of and was shocked. I had orange hair. later on, when she asked me how my hair was i said I wasnt very happy. She was so rude and started shouting saying it was what i wanted. No it wasn't. Simple as - she got very wound up and angry and made me cry.
When they blow dried my hair, they got two people to do it - two hairdryers on one head? I started to get a severe headache. I couldn't even be bothered to look at the cut. I went home.
The next morning my hair was yellow, orange, some bits were even grey. I asked for highlights, not streaks!
I went into the salon and complained they rang their manager who said theyre is nothing they can do but re dye it - why would i want to damage my hair further? Why should I even have to? I asked for a refund they said no. Im calling head office and this has been the worst experience i have ever had and will not be going back. I know my consumer rights and this has breached it. I will happily take this to court if they don't refund me.
