Awful Don’t Use Them

Car not as advertised or as told via communication

Car in poor condition, touch ups done to cover rust and damaged parts

Engine making lots of noises

Interior of car dirty and holes in seats not mentioned.

Cost me £100 deposit and £100 travel there and back for 4 hours.

Owner arrogant and rude and basically it’s just a conveyer belt of misery and they don’t run it like a family business just a conveyor belt.

I asked for my deposit back and they refused.

Just stay clear. They sell piles of junk.

Also beware that they also seem to own their own MOT centre so if they MOT themselves there is no legal requirement to write down any advisories so car may look good on paper but have many things you don’t know about.

A Disaster So Far! Keep You Updated

A Complete disaster so far. The car was advertised with MOT, it actually did not have any. I was supposed to travel 4 hours away by train on Friday to collect the car, which we agreed a week before. The car was taken to MOT on Thursday, the day before! And it failed! I did not take the train on Friday (not refundable) as I definitely did not want to be stuck overnight there. Still, no news of MOT since so I am glad I did not go to spend 4 nights in a hotel there! My last 4 or 5 emails received no reply and my 3 last texts either. Very poor organisation and customer service so far but I hope they are just extremely busy and not dishonest. I hope they will fix this mess. I keep you updated! Check my next feedback!

Avoid At All Costs!

AVOID!!! They will seem very nice to drag you in but then they will take advantage of you on the first oportunity. Both me and my husband have no knowledge of cars so we trusted the person who managed the place, who told us the car we wanted to exchange was worth "peanuts" because it was a Cat C, which we were unaware, and that he could only sell the car on auction as he couldn't sell it or have it on their permises (he had more Category vehicles on their website), this all happened on a Sunday (23/04). Well from the time we took to leave their permises and getting home they had put an add on autotrader and their website asking for 6 times the money he offered us for the car, once confronted with that we were told the advert were put up by mistake, but they were only removed a couple of days later once we mentioned they were still up. The next day morning (Monday 24/04) we asked to pay what they "paid" us for the car and get it which first was ok but then came back saying that the car was already booked for auction, quite convinient.

They kept inviting us to go to their permises to discuss this further but once we told them that any discussion should be in writting they just stop answering and ignoring our messages, they told us that we would be updated by wednesday 26/04 but nothing I have sent messages to them but they are just ignored.

Please note that we know in the business they are supose to make profit out of the exchange cars but the matter in here is the lies and fact that he pretended that he cared.

If only I had checked their reviews on google first, apperantly they were South Birmingham Motors Ltd read their reviews first.

We will take this as far as we can and will be reporting them to trading standards and hopefully they will not be able to trick anyone else.

We are yet to find if the car that they sold us is in the condition they said, with only cosmetic problems as the car was checked by them before selling, and will update once known.

DO NOT TRUST THEM EVEN IF THEY DO SEEM NICE TO YOU! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AT THEIR FIRST CHANCE.

Sold Car With Undisclosed Engine Faults

Please I beg you don't buy your car from here. I know it's tempting when the car is at a low price and low mileage. The car i bought was in the worst condition possible.

i paid around £2000 in January for a ford focus. The car has repeatably broke down on me. I've never had this problem with a car before. Saif motors refuse to help you if your over the 1 month warranty.

My cars engine is seized now. It's now unroadworthy. Bought a ford focus with low mileage. They don't inform you of any faults and they formulate reviews themselves to give their business better ratings. I've been in contact with trading standards been told there's nothing i can do. So upset right now. I'm only writing this review as i'm in fear people might make the same mistake i did and actually by a car from them.

Completely Unprofessional

I went to their Yardley branch. The selection of cars I saw were very poor standard. They had filthy interiors, dents, scratches etc. I was greeted on the forecourt by a young boy who I believe was the owners son. When I asked if i could take a car for a test drive the owner sent me out on a test drive with the young boy (i'm talking primary school age)!! The kid was really doing the hard sell routine as well. All in all it was one of the most surreal experiences i've had in my life. I would not recommend them. Their cars look like they'd hardly make it down the road, customer service was awful (i'd have preferred to liaise with a grown up over how i spend a few grand!).

Avoid This Dealers

Very bad experience with this garage Went to buy car off them on agreement they fix the wing mirror rest of the car fine .they told me i must leave a deposit or the car would still be for sale .Although i did explain couldnt get money till couple of days.So left £50 (they wanted £100).When went to go back to collect with cash as promised. The car had no sold sign on the car. The wing mirror not touched they said its in the glove box.Expecting me to fix it,and the back wheel arch had been scratched to the metal which they had done moving the car.I asked them to repair it but they refused. So i asked for my £50 back and they refused again saying tough. This company keeps changing names now they are birmingham motor center but look for address. And ask on every car about cat c or D Because they want top money for cars that have been repaired.

Saw A Car Advertised And Thought It Would Be Worth

Saw a car advertised and thought it would be worth a look. The advert said RAC, AA inspections welcome and as I don't know my a*** from my elbow when it comes to cars I thought I would pay for it.

Called Birmingham car centre to inform them it would be happening and just from the tone of the chap on the phone I was dubious.

RAC called me back 10 mins later and the car had been written off 4 years earlier.

If you choose to use this company please get the vehicle inspected first. I'm glad I did as I might have purchased a car with serious underlying problems and possibly dangerous.

Nice Website But Small Variety Of Cars

Nice website but small variety of cars. I brought my car from here last month {Honda Civic}, the lad did say it needs a few bits doing to it, which to be fair didnt cost much considering the price i paid for it, And its been driving superb ever since...

I would recommend this garage if you wanted a car at a bargain price, and dont mind it having a few small dents or problems... And if i remember correctly they did say they had another larger car sales garage in Yardley where most of there Sports and Prestiege Cars are kept....

I Made The Mistake Of Buying A Car From These Con

I made the mistake of buying a car from these con men. Seemed fine on the test drive, but 60 miles down the motorway the gearbox and head gasket went. When I tried to return the car under the Sale of Goods Act they refused to take it, saying it was "Sold As Seen" (which actually doesn't mean anything when you buy from a dealer). 4 of them tried to intimidate me in the office, so I left and reported them to Trading Standards. I'm now in the process of sueing them through the small claims court! Avoid these cowboys at all cost!
