Sixt Shlomo - Ben Gurion Airport

Do not rent from this Sixt(Shlomo) location at Ben Gurion Airport. When we arrived to pick up the car, an associate offered to upgrade us for the same daily rate. He said he would put notes in the account to ensure we got the discounted rate and to make sure we left him a great review. When we returned the car at the airport, we were told we couldn't get an invoice because they had to adjust the rate and wouldn't be able to do it until the following week. 2 weeks later, our credit car was charged almost $1,300 versus $710 for the original quote. Calling customer service is a nightmare if you only speak English as it took going through 5 agents before I found one that spoke English. The agent I spoke to was very rude even though I was trying to be polite and factual. Once I finally got through, customer service said they would have to call that branch and see what happened. They said they would call us back. We never received a call. We also emailed through their customer service page and have never received a response. Now we have to file a dispute with the credit card company. Just avoid using Sixt (Shlomo) if you can. You will be happy your avoided this nightmare.

After I Return The Car They Charged My Card Saying

After I return the car they charged my card saying they under charge me

I refill the the gas to full and point it to them the gage is not showing full and the acknowledged but still charge me for gas

Their attitude is terrible

Stay Away!!! Do Yourself A Favor And Don't Even Consider!

They had us waiting over an hour and half in line to just find out at the end that they have no cars left (even though we had a reservation AND it was fully paid). They asked us to wait an hour to get more cars in. Then they started with the extra charges. Don't know where to start ... just don't even consider ... don't fall for the cheap prices. You'll pay. If time for it.

Beware! Worst Rental Place Ever

I was stupid and didn't read the reviews for Shlomo Six, I would have seen this is the WORST car rental place in Israel. Read the reviews. I've had time and time again the worst possible experience with them, good luck dealing with any issues. You will walk out paying much more than your original bill. NEVER EVER EVER rent from them. Their insurance is worthless read the fine print. The customer service is horrible. It's all around the worst place over.

DO NOT RENT FROM Shlomo Sixt Car Rental in Israel. They are the WORST!!!! This was by far one of the worst rental car experiences I have ever had. There staff and operations at this location was absurd and ridicules. Very unpleasant and deceiving people. I did not want any kind of insurance and was still billed $17 a day. The gps I rented did not work properly. The car was not the car I chose on price line and was filthy. The pick up and drop off experience took a least 30min each time and was very unpleasant. I will never rent from this company again. Branch: Jerusalem - King David St.

Zero Customer Service

I rented a car from them on a previous trip to Israel. The car they provided stank of cigarette smoke. As it was very close to Israel, I did not have the time to ask for a replacement. It took a week of driving with the windows open (in January) to get rid of the cigarette odor. I called during the trip and their customer service service department told me to mention it to the staff member when I return the vehicle. Upon returning the car, the agent told me I had to send a letter to the customer service department. I sent two letters via their website. Never got a response. I contacted the international office of Sixt Car Rental. They never responded. I doubt they will ever get my business again. They're welcome to call me but based on my previous experience, I don't think they will.

Stay Away From Shlomo Sixt !! Junk Cars & Customer Service !

Horrible Customer Service; They rent cars that break down constantly. First car they gave me was 11 1/2 years old with 195,000+ km. on it. Within less than two days the battery died 2X's, bald tires on all 4 wheels, power windows didn't work, glove box was full of old parts from the car, dirty/filthy interior, clock didn't work, it was 2 classes below what I had rented from the States - complete piece of JUNK !! Their customer service was even worse. Waited 2+ hours in the North Jerusalem location to exchange the car; only ran into roadblocks with rude and unhelpful people. Finally replaced the car after 2 days to an American car which I had paid for and within a week the battery died TWICE, and it took them 4 hours to send me a service truck to replace the battery !! Refused to give me credit for 3 days of non-use of their vehicle plus the 600 Shekels I had to pay out of pocket for a taxi driver to drive my family to the airport when the car died in Jerusalem; Impossible to get through to them by phone, even on their so called emergency number based out of their headquarters; everyone passes the buck and claims they have no power to give me any credits when I turn in my car !! Being a Hertz Platinum member for 30+ years I rented with them for the first time from advice from an Israeli cousin of mine to try them out. BAD ADVICE - BAD CHOICE ON MY PART !! DO NOT EVER SET FOOT IN THEIR CAR RENTAL CENTERS. THEIR PRICES ARE EXHOHORBITANT AND WHEN YOU DO FINALLY GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE - THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY CAN'T SEND YOU A SERVICE TRUCK UNTIL 2-3 HOURS, EVEN IN 40 DEGREE C / 104 DEGREE F HEAT !! COMPLETE UNACCOUNTABILITY, NO ONE CARES, NO ONE FOLLOWS UP, A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY; You have to fight them for everything !! STAY AWAY FROM SHLOMO SIXT IN ISRAEL AND I WILL NEVER, EVER RENT FROM SIXT ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD !! Pass the word around to friends and family !! RENT FROM ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT FROM THEM !!!

Do Not Rent A Car From Shlomo Sixt

1. I rent a car on the June 19 in Ben Gurion airport after a long time waiting in the airport 1 hour until I was getting the car ,(after 20 hours of flight) , i receive a car all the car was broken and dents all over (i am sure someone was pay for this repairs) and old car , after 10km drive the car was making noise,

I replace the car next day, after they blame me on a nail in the tire , and look at me you come from !!!

I try to talk with the guys ,and told them .. the noise come the moment i drive from the air port!!!! and this is why i am her , to replace the car .

2. they give me 2nd car all dents and broken , with 60k miles , the second day the car start to act ,

so they send me to tel aviv to replace the car ,

3. the 3rd car they try to give me a very old car and all broken inside and out side , i did not take the car!!!

4. the last car was downgrade but derivable and good..

the day June 29 2015 i was returning the car at airport , they found a mark on the side of the rear bomber 1" ,

you have 6 guys checking the car for mark and dents ,one girl for check out. looking obvious what is your attentions.

I pay 140,00 dollars for this OMG..

WHAT WITH MY TIME !!! MORE THE A DAY OUT OF MY 10 DAYS VACATION WAS AROUND BROKEN CARS AND UNPROFESSIONAL RENT A CAR CREW ."0" CUSTOMER SERVICE ..

for all of this i have pictures and paper work and 2 guys with me .
