Rosenfields, Manchester

Rosenfields in Manchester is a fairly large shop with a decent selection of stuff. We decided to look there after getting a quote at Moss Bros. We found the colour combination we wanted (black jacket w/tails, dark grey trousers, cream waistcoat & red cravat for groom and gold cravat for the groomsmen), but thought maybe we could get a better deal elsewhere.

We must have spent an hour or more in Rosenfields looking at their horrific selection of waistcoats. Everything they had was on the racks for people to look through so half the stuff was worn out and rather tatty looking and not particularly clean-looking. It also looked like they hadn't updated their stock in YEARS, either that or anything remotely modern was being worn at the time. We kept finding one nice waistcoat only to be told they didn't have any others. What's the point of loads of unmatching waistcoats when most people will want their groomsmen to match! Then they tried to convince my fiance to wear a patterned jacket - YUCK!

If we'd wanted to purchase the suits, they did have a really nice range of stuff, but that's rather expensive and was well out of our budget.

In the end we went back to Moss Bros.

Rosenfields Suit Hire is caught in a time warp, a dedicated living memorial to the classic TV series are you being served, however you won't find anywhere more reasonable or entertaining.
