Vw Tiguan Engine Broken
I’m brought brand new vw Tiguan just over three years after the warranty is out the car is only done 22.000 mile with full service history. And the engine is broken down and I took it back to the “Tamworth dealer” and the service manager told me my car it just is out of warranty and they estimate the figure for repair is £14.500 for replacement the engine that really really shock , the car is only worth £8000 and seems that dealer is not willing help me contact the manufacturer discussing about the case , I feel really upset about this because the car is only done 22.000 mile and 39 months old,
From now I would never ever buying the vw car and specially in Tamworth dealer I am also tell my friends and relatives do not buy vw car,

I got a brand new Passat now with 10,000 miles on the clock.
Terrible car indeed - rattles, squeaks, bad paint. And they think this is a premium car!!
Total garbage that's what it is. Has the extras but lacks the quality, fit and finish.

Initially I was really pleased with the sales service for buying a car from them and thought that I had finally found a garage that didn't live up to the typical dealership stereotype. I have however since been proven wrong on my initial thought.
Before I purchased the car the MOT had ran out so they said they would put it through one and repair any work that needed doing. It failed this initial MOT they did, but I was assured the work would be carried out. And an an invoice would be provided for my records to prove the work had been done. This was and still hasn't been received.
After numerous calls and emails of which the majority were ignored I decided to have the car inspected by a specialist garage. It transpired from this inspection that the car would fail an MOT for numerous problems of which a few are directly linked to the reason it would fail the MOT they put it through initially. (The one they haven't sent me the invoice for)
After contacting them regarding these findings and sending them the report to try and come to a conclusion to suit both parties, I have been met with being completely ignored or palmed off with excuses until finally they got back to me to say they were not prepared to do anything. This is despite them selling me an un-roadworthy car and giving it a dodgy MOT.
I have since contacted Volkswagen UK directly about this as well as the relevant authorities to try and get some for of resolution.
So in conclusion pre sales were good but if your looking for any kind of after sales service then go elsewhere.

Vw Lancaster In Morcambe
VW Lancaster sold me a VW Touareg fully aware that the head gasket was failing - being a specialist job with engine removal needing special tools the cost would be from £1000 - £2000 to repair.
Sales staff wouldn't accept car being driven back to them but were happy for me to drive the car away !
Very underhand - Complaint made to VW - will never use again !

Irritating Salesman
I booked a test drive at VW West London for a used polo and was met there by an extremely irritating young salesman who tried over and over and over again to sell me finance that I didn't need. To make matters worse they advertised the car with 20k miles and it actually had over 30k on the clock, and then to add insult to injury he didn't want me to test drive it unless I was already committed to buying it. Would you buy a used car from these people, well I didn't.

Arrogant Unhelpful Staff
Went to Lancaster Volkswagen in Milton Keyenes today and found a long wait(About 40 mins) and then the staff did not want to do a test drive, being more interested in closing up on time. It was still a long time before closing time. It was a shame as we had the cash in hand to buy a car on the spot, subject to test drive and had travelled some way to be there. The staff do not appear interested in selling cars and the "sales person" we met did not want to spend time with customers. If there is another VW dealership a similar distance to you, would recommend trying them instead.
Worst Service Ever!
I'm writing a review about Robinson's vw in Stamford Lincolnshire. I would stay away from there,I found out the hard way. I took my golf there to have a keyless entry problem fixed. First of all they tried their best not to get involved for whatever reason,the lady on reception said they might not be able to fix it which baffled me because like I said to her,its a 2013 vw golf and you are a VW DEALERSHIP so why won't you be able to fix it? So reluctantly they took it in, they had it for over 2 days then they told me it was fixed, so I picked it up and naturally I tried it out, so I grabbed the handle expecting it to unlock which a fully working keyless entry system is supposed to do and nothing happend! On further inspection I also found a bolt in the drivers foot well which they hadn't bothered to fit,so not only was it not fixed but something was clearly not put together properly! Unfortunately the service reception was shut because it was Saturday afternoon which was probably a good job because I wasn't best pleased and the salesman who was there couldn't care less because I wasn't there to buy a car. When I got home I had another walk round and to my horror found 3 deep scratches and lots of small scratches and swirls on the bonnet from when they washed it with what looked like 40 grit sand paper! I never told them to wash it,they never asked me if I wanted it washing because I would of said no,not just because it didn't need a wash but because I like to wash it myself. So I rang on Monday to get an explanation and suprise ,surprise I got the old excuse of "well it was working when we parked it up" he then told me the so called technian checked it a dozen times after he parked it up which if that is true tells me he wasn't quite confident that it was fixed, as for the bonnet they said they would get their valeter to have a look to which I said is it the same person who washed it, they said yes to which I said I don't want them anywhere near my car! If they can't wash a car then I wouldn't trust them to do anything on my car let alone paint work! Rather than get my car straight back in they told me i would have to wait over a month before they could fit me, so I told them to shove it and I went somewhere worthy of putting the vw logo on their building. If I could give them minus 5 stars I would.

Alan Day Volkswagen Service
I had my car annual service last year with Alan Day Volkswagen (City). After getting my car back I felt very strong smell in the car, which initially I ignored and thought it will go away after a while, however after a month, this didn't resolve and it was giving me headache every time when I was driving, so I had to take the car back to the Alanday Volkswagen garage, at first they did not accept thats their fault, and after long discussion they agreed to clean it! so after another week so, I got my car back and this time they cleaned it with strong chemicals which gave me nasal and respiratory inflammation plus allergy and I had to go to doctor several times!!!.
Finally after all frustration, they could not resolve the issue and I had to sell my car!
I strongly advise not to use this garage service and maintenance at all as they do not take responsibility for their own faults and leave the customer with huge trouble.

I have tried twice in the past few months to get some service at this dealership to no avail.The first time i phoned to book my car in for a service,but no one was available on service reception.So the took my phone number to have someone phone me back, which no one ever did.Then yesterday i had a problem with the bonnet catch on my car.I could not shut the bonnet also i could not lock the car as the alarm kept going off.Guess what the same thing happened again.They promised to phone me back,but no one did.I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.
I have had exactly the same concern with their poor customer service with a promise to phone back and the phone cll never happens. My main concern is that I had a service on my car there just after Christmas and no faults were reported, 500 miles later my car needs new pads and rear discs - How can this happen?
