Stading Standards Had To Sort Them Out.

I bought a car online as i was abroad and had it delivereD for my return. This is when i realised i had been very very badly misled.

They had the car back to Perrys Rotherham car sales to correct most faults but THEY actually damaged the paintwork in two areas while it was there and failed to reset the T.P.M.S. after replacing the two defective wheels and tyre. This caused warning messages on the way home and a call to another garage to sort it out.!

When I received the logbook it clearly said i was not the second owner although it was confirmed by the dealership before purchase that i would be.

So it was a case for Trading Standards and Mediation due to the misinformation given. As far as i was concerned it was a salesman not doing a proper job.!

The result was that because of Trading Standards Perrys agreed to a Buy Back OPTION for the car or a substantial cash back discount IF I KEPT IT.

Either way I do not recommend that you deal with Perrys cars Rotherham, AVOID THE HASSLE. stick to traders that will tell you in plain language the truth about what you are buying and offer a decent after sales service.

Went here after a awful experience at Pentagon in Sheffield as on a number of occasions they could not fund the issue I was having.

Went to Perrys where was made to feel welcome they had the car asked me to go out with a technician who diagnosed the fault and parts was ordered.

Upon return I was greeted in a friendly manner and the repair was completed promptly. Other family members use this garage and have purchased cars from here and have no issues.

the people I dealt with are all very professional and caring.

I highly recommend there professional work and manners and take our other car there for its service and repair needs.

Great Service

Went here after recommendation from family member as Pentagon in Sheffield could not diagnose issues with my car and caused damaged to it.

I have found all the staff at Perrys to be friendly, professional and helpful. I have found it easy to get to talk to the technicians which some dealers will not allow you to speak to them.

the people I dealt with in service are great and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I have been happy with all the work they have completed and now take both our cars there for work.

I would recommend here.

Service At Perrys Terrible

Booked our vehicle in for a service at this dealer, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Miss selling labour and parts, our vehicle has done 20,000 miles and is 2 years old still under Vauxhall warranty and Perrys wanted to charge me almost £1000 for new brake pads and discs on the front and rear.

When I questioned this the service advisor said "well you could get away with just pads on the front if you want, thats only £140 plus vat"

RIP OFF MERCHANTS,

If you want to waste some of your money go there.

We got new pads fitted for £85 including vat and was advised that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the brake discs

Incompetent Mechanics Need Training

took car to perrys rotherham engine was overheating recovery guy suspected thermostat or water pump looked online and a common fault was sensors told perrys that i thought it could be any of these 3 and paid

£70 for diagnostic check they phoned me and said that it was the radiator leaking I asked if the diagnostic check had shown anything else and they said no. I asked how much it would be

£160 for radiator plus £188 for 2 hours labour.

i did not want to pay their rip off labour charges so i paid the £70 for the diagnostic check and took it local garage and had new radiator fitted

although there was a leak from the radiator, when the new one was fitted the engine was still overheating and the main fault was the water pump

i phoned perrys and told them that they had failed to diagnose the problem and therefore i wanted the £70 back which they refused

my adviceto anyone STAY AWAY FROM PERRYS THEY ARE INCOMPETENT TO FIND BASIC FAULTS AND WILL CHARGE YOU £70 FOR THIS AND £94 AN HOUR LABOUR CHARGES

Choose A Better Garage

My experience of Perrys today has not been good. When a promise is made that your service will be completed within 2 hours, you expect that promise to be kept, or at least informed of any likely delays.

My advice to any Vauxhall owner is to find a garage with a more customer focused and reliable after care service.

An average review score of one star speaks volumes for the service you can expect.

Typical Car Sales People

Bought 2 x Insignia's and was told I was a VIP customer, had 1 car 8 weeks and returned it at least 6 times within this period.

Sold to me with a tyre that need replacing, parked the car on a hill and did not need to put hand break on as the breaks were seized. went back 3 times with this fault and was told they would eventually work free by the sales man.

Engine constantly was over heating and was told it was the oil filters then when the warning light came on they suddenly found the car need an expansion bottle and water cap.

2nd car needed a new battery within 2 weeks of purchase and found a the engine cover was cracked

We have had so many issues with this company we have taken to reporting them to trading standards.

Do not buy from Perry's Rotherham before you have an independent check or you are desperate.

We have had an independent inspection and found the car has had a bump on the front wing which we new nothing about, the front grill was cracked.

Took my car in for a service, booked a 2 hour slot, had my car 5 hours and because I needed my car back for work they didn't wash it or hoover it out, I thought this was part of the service plan ?

Once my service plan runs out which cost me £249.99 I will be going elsewhere

We went to Perry's to look for another car ours was 130000 on the clock and we just returned from Cyprus. We found a car online as they couldn't find a low mileage one we wanted but I found it on there site and they brought off from Barnsley at 7000 miles instead of the 32000 miles on the clock on the cars they tried to sell us. I stood my ground also insisted on a £15 a month credit budget and they agreed with gap insurance etc included Went to sign etc pick car up the form showed £167 a month they quickly pushed the fact they could only get this deal so its that price our car had gone we traded in and had no option to take it

We feel Perry's have gone to underhanded tricks and in the past when we went to Perry's for cars now feel badly treated and pushed into everything

will never go again after 2 years will trade car in for something else with another company for sure DO NOT USE Perry's For anything
