Razor's Edge, Manchester

I've been to this hairdresser before and never been disappointed..my hair was over processed and in bad shape but her and the team did an amazing job.i'm a hairdresser myself and know how much work and great service I've received on many occasions.love my hair...and will be back again.

Absolute nightmare!!! visited this salon recently for a fringe cut... Thankfully it was only a fringe cut and not the rest of my hair. I told the stylist exactly what i wanted and she appeared to have listened to me. Came home and my fringe is an absolute mess.. looks like a child has cut it. I went back the next day to have it rectified and the same stylist didnt even know how to sort the problem out. She got another stylist to make a slightley better job on it but not much difference. Im very unhappy that i will have to clip my hair back until it grows back and i will certainly never go back there for a repeat performance.

I got a haircut from Natalie in july at razors edge exchange sq..iv got thick, wavy/curly hair and have had a problem finding a good hair stylist for my hair in manchester. But Natalie totally understood what i wanted ( layers but not too many, thinned to get the heaviness out) and gave me a great blow dry after it too:). Also went there again for a blow dry a few days ago, this time with Sanaah. She did a wonderful job. I've got A LOT of hair and some people get a bit impatient doing it..but she was very good throughout..and no falling back on the hair straightner . ( yea a guy in headmasters manchester did that when i went there for a blow dry once! And also at burlington ID manchester. :S). Anyway would recommend razors edge exchange sq. I'll definitely be going there again! :)

ive been goin to razor edge on fountain street for 4 years i think its the best salon even tho i only have kate as my stylist as she is superb an i wouldent go any where else an would recomend her 2 any 1

I visited the Oxford Road Branch yesterday and had my haircut by the manager and senior stylist. Unfortunately I went in with longish hair for a man and came out with a hairstyle that is short and very uneven. Without question, it's the worst hairstyle I've ever had. It looks horrific and very little can be done to rectify it. I had previously been to another branch behind Primark in town where the hair cut was average, but the attitude of the chap was horrific. It's also clear that these people don't value customer service. I called to make an appointment only to be speaking to someone with terrible english, repeating my details more than 4 times and then to be greeted by the manager who nearly ripped my arm off as she tried to hurry me taking my coat off!

DON'T waste your money If I were you. There are MUCH better hairdressers with emphasis on quality and customer service than this bunch!!

Visited the Fountain Street branch on the off chance of an appointment, the staff were kind helpful and booked me in there and then. I came out and back to the Office within 45 minutes looking and feeling great. Would recomend them to anyone,

The salon is light and airy, the staff super cost is a little higher than other places but you pay for quality.

I have been going to Razors Edge for many years now and have seen the same stylist for the duration of this time ,but have felt the need to to right this review as I have recently, due to my stylist being on holiday had a different stylist work on my hair . The stylists name is Daniel ,and although I was always happy with my regular stylist the level of service and look of the finished result was far superior to what I have ever had before . His approach to dealing with me was fresh ,enthusiastic and fun I feel like I have had a new lease of life and will never look back .I will be recommending Daniel to all my friends and family as everyone should feel like me when they leave a salon .

As a visitor to Manchester and in dire need of a haircut I took pot luck and went to the Razors Edge Fountain Street salon. The stylist was very attentive, friendly and genuine. She listened to my request and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I'm now absolutely stumped as I live in Bristol and won't be able to get back to Manchester to have my haircut again! I can't recommend the Fountain STreet salon highly enough.

I've been going to Razors Edge for years and I love the new Fountain St salon with reclining backwash chairs! and the staff are so freindly and helpful.
