36% Increase In Site Fees In 24hrs
Contacted a site by phone to make sure our group of 4 caravans could book on the same weekend and was quoted a price. One of our friends on the strength of this renewed there membership after a few years without. Came to book and the price had risen by 26%. Called the H/O to be told it's a new policy, "in line with airline charging" How disgusting! We are not prepared to pay over £36 per night, so have cancelled the birthday weekend away and now have a friend with a membership he doesn't really want, very much like us all. Who'd of thought that the customers who pay for their existence would be treated this way. Not looking to renew based on just this experience alone. As a member I placed feedback on their website and due to overwhelming feedback, they are unable to respond to any members. Time for them to hit the reset button.

Now Profit Led Not Member Led
The CMC has lost its way in terms of service to members.
Principally the site fees are now almost double their main club rival plus the 21 day cancellation or lose your money is absurd and utterly unreasonable for members who cannot always plan breaks with three weeks notice.
Seriously Overpriced Renewal Quote
Wouldn’t even given one star as the review only allows review to be submitted if stars completed
Renewal due from the insurers through C&MC
Four years no claims on a £12,000 valued vehicle
Had gone up £100 to £460 or so pounds
Even the customer services didn’t understand why
Went on comparison site and now insured for around £170 with better excesses and cover with another insurer
Where’s the loyalty with sticking to the same insurers?

Appaling Service
Whilst pitched on a caravan club site our caravan was damaged by a runaway car with caravan attached ( owner had not applied handbrake to car or caravan ) although admitting all responsibility for the accident which happened in September 2017 the matter is still not resolved. On completion of repairs I had to pay £200.00 pounds excess for damage caused entirely by the third party. I have had to constantly make phone calls to insurance company and caravan repair centre for updates. At No point have I been contacted by the caravan club to ask about situation and feel their 5c insurance is misleading which upon receipt of your money is quickly passed on to normal brokers . I am about to contact caravan club to ask why my policy premium has increased by £15.00 a month for no reason other than they assume accident and subsequent claim has to be covered by me . If they could take time to contact members and ask about the situation this predicament could be avoided ( CLub that cares comes to mind ) Don’t be fooled by paying high premiums thinking the caravan club will be behind you all the way when you really need them far from it when contacted they can’t tell you quick enough to contact their brokers directly and take nothing at all to do with assisting you in your hour of need. Very Very angry ?

Rubbish
My caravan was hit ( October 2017 )whilst in the caravan and Motorhome storage , the 3rd Party admitted liability , now the fun begins !....after many phone calls in December 2017 to them and with a threat of contacting the directors I stated to get answer why I had not heard a thing, besides being told by one operator that these things take time ( being kept updated would be nice). Although the 3rd party had admitted liability I notice that my premiums have gone up including I had to pay £200 excess. My caravan has been repaired however not heard a thing about excess being paid back or being reimbursed. After looking at previous reviews I can only assume I’m the exception to the rule.

My Wife's Car Insurance Was Recently Cancelled By
My wife's car insurance was recently cancelled by these liers. They said we had not sent proof of no claims bonus entitlement, we had. They said they had sent 3 emails to say we had not sent the information, they had not. They said that during my first phone call to them regarding the cancellation that I had been put through to a supervisor who had apologised and said that the policy had never been cancelled in the first place, this never happened and is is completely fictitious. They caused an awfully lot of stress. Will be cancelling the policy and going somewhere else. If we can't trust them to get this part right, God help us if we were to make a claim.
For your own sanity steer clear of these charlatans.

Totally Incompetent Firm
I was involved in an accident with my Citroen car which the Third Party insurers admitted full responsibility.the car was a write off. I also have my BMW estate insured through Caravan Club and they incorrectly stated that my BMW was the car involved and sent a request for an extra £146 on the cover. After E mails and Phone calls, for which there was no reply no apology or reply been made at all. Now I have a letter from them which states that I have to pay the full balance of the policy on the Citroen.Total ripoff. I have insured my new car with another firm for same fully comprehensive cover for £100 less than the Citroen quote.
Will not be renewing the policies on the BMW or my house insurances,as after over 20 years of using the C.C insurance, there is no personal service at all.
