"worth It"
I purchase this TV several years ago and loved this TV very much. I also have high-quality speakers with outstanding sound. I really like the Toshiba TV. It is a flat screen and the appearance is nice.

I don't think this is the most popular brand but it's an authentic brand selling quality products at a reasonable price. We had bought a 41 inch Toshiba LED TV at a very reasonable price and with my personal experience, this is a fascinating tv with high sound and video quality.

Do Not Buy A Toshiba 42vl963b - Toshiba Tv & Support Useless
Having purchased this TV in late 2012, the TV kept failing to come on or switch off, power on showed green but the screen remained blank, absolutely nothing and by this time it was only 11 months old. Took back to Currys and complained about the faults, they really didn't seem surprised and they sent it away for repair, this took another 3 and half weeks and then they lost the remote control. After 2 more weeks, we finally got a replacement and we could now switch the "repaired" tv on. So now the warranty was expired. Everything seemed fine but after only 4 months of working ok, the unit has failed again and I have contacted Toshiba support who have been very UNHELPFUL and have replied that the warranty is expired and they are no longer responsible, they were so kind to send me a repair centre address in the area, how considerate of them. Wow what a waste of £700+, would have been cheaper renting a TV.
I have had a Toshiba TV before and it was great and this is what made me buy this one. Rest assured I will not purchase another Toshiba item due to lack of support etc. Seems they are only interested in taking your money and not resolving faulty products. It also seems that we are not the only ones who have had this issue with a Toshiba TV, so there must be an underlying cause(s) to the failures, which Toshiba seem to fail to address/deal with. Like I said, they are happy to take your money, then shrug you off as soon as your warranty and repairs expire and fail

Distorted / Static Audio That Is A Manufacturing Issue
I purchased a Toshiba Regza 52" TV in November 2009. We began having distorted / static audio randomly in early 2011. I began trying to solve the problem only to be told that Toshiba was not aware of the issue. As the problem escalated more searching was done only to be told the same thing. After having a technician come to my home did I learn that a bulletin had been posted addressing this issue but does not apply to my model and I would be responsible for the repair cost to replace the main board at a cost of $449.34. After speaking with Toshiba customer care today agian I was told that yes a bulletin had been been posted in 2010 addressing the issue but I am responsible for the cost of repair.
My question is why should the consumer be responsible for repairing a manufacturing break down.
Never will purchase a Toshiba product again nor recommend them, but, will advise anyone against purchasing it.

I Purchased A Toshiba Dlp, Model Number 44nhm84 An
I purchased a Toshiba DLP, model number 44NHM84 and it didn't even last more then two years. I thought it was the lamp bulb, so replaced that, not the problem. I ended up taking it to the repair shop, was told it needed a new engine light. They wanted too much money to fix it, so now I have a TV seating here that is useless. Don't buy DLP televisions from Toshiba. I thought Toshiba made quality products, I was wrong. I will never purchase anything from them again. I wish I would of purchased the extended warranty, but I didn't. It's a shame cause the picture on this TV was excellent. For a short time, any way.
I Purchased The Extended Warranty From The Store,
I purchased the extended warranty from the store, thank goodness, but when that runs out and I have to pay for another engine, which is doomed to failure, again, I will not be purchasing another Toshiba product.
