21 Days And Car Still Smashed...still Not In A Repair Shop!!

Hopeless, useless company, had a crash head on with an idiot coming the wrong way down a street into me, reported it, did all the paperwork they wanted (there is plenty don't believe the ADs)now 21 days later, my car is now out of rego and smashed and not road worthy and STILL waiting for A&G Insurance (Virgin uses these people) nothing has been done!! 21days!!! Stick with AAMI or GIO I would have had the car back by now!!!! And they want me to pay an excess for this hopeless service!!!!

Be Carful

$437 for Comprehensive Insurance. That’s great. I enquire about a daughter about to get her licence in 3 months what will the price be then. Response was 'can't quote on events in the future' there was NO WAY I could even get an idea out of the consultant of what the price would be.

I then told him in desperation I had another dauhter (17) who will drive the vehicle. The premium went up to……….you ready………..$1252.39

I know you can't lie but hells bells how was I to get what I needed to know out of Virgins sales people.

No Respect For "valued" Customers

When I was learning to drive I needed insurance as I had been spoilt and my parents had bought me a car to be able to teach me to drive themselves. Virgin (this was 7 years ago now) were the cheapest (still £1200) to insure me, so that why we chose them. After passing my test I stayed with Virgin as their renewal was around the same price and no other insurers could better this. I then kept my insurance with Virgin right up until this month.

When I contacted Virgin about my renewal on a MG ZR 160 (which I have been driving for 2 years) they told me it would go up from £1100 to £2550 (yes the car is insurace group 17 but 100%+ increase??), well I nearly fell off my chair!! I refused the renewal straight away and found a brilliant quote through direct line. A few days later doing my weekly shop, my card was declined in a very busy Asda (how embarrassing!) I immediately thought the worst, I went straight home to check my online banking, and low and behold, Virgin are trying to take a payment. I have contacted Virgin this morning who have informed that this is the last payment of my insurance policy, I questioned this, as Aug-July is 12 payments not Aug-Aug! According to Virgin they take the payments for the month previous, so this August payment if for July??????? Anyone else as confused as me?

After checking the last 2 years of insurance payments to virgin (which have been the same amount for 2 years and no change to policy number) I cannot see when the "initial payment" for this years policy was taken. In other words, Virgin have left me in a state and are still demanding that I make this last payment. The member of staff Ii spoke to was extremely rude and abrupt, I asked to speak to her manager to which she replied "this is not a manager situation, you have to make the last payment"

7 YEARS I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF VIRGIN, and they treat you like this? Absolutly distgusting customer service. Im off to the bank today hopefully they can shed some light on what I have actually paid to Virgin over the last 12 months.

Do Not Ever Use This Insurer. Had The S

DO NOT EVER USE THIS INSURER.

Had the same experience as one of the other reviewers on here:

Our proof of no-claims was deemed insufficient, but we were not told and the policy was cancelled, again without us being told.

Despite cancelling our policy on 7th April, Virgin took money from our account on the 15th. We finally find out that we've been driving around with no car insurance on the 16th May when we receive a partial refund and a letter through the post informing us of the refund.

When I asked why they couldn't access proof of no claims from the database, was told "oh, we're not connected to that".

An absolute disgrace, they only receive 1 star because I can't give them a minus.

Virgin Money Am A Disgrace I Sent Them Proof Of My

Virgin money am a disgrace i sent them proof of my no claims bonus and they said it wasn't adequate enough n cancelled my insurance without telling me,i was driving uninsured and didn't even know cuz of these clowns. When i recieved my bank statement and noticed no money had been taken out i phoned them too query it and this is when i found out my cover had been cancelled over a month ago.The woman on the phone was rude n very unhelpful,so now i've lost my deposit n 1st month payments and have had to start all over again.Be warned avoid virgin money car insurance at all costs.

p.s i've only gave them 1 star cause i had to they didn't even deserve that tbh.

Avoid At All Costs! Took Out A Policy Then Cancell

Avoid at all costs! Took out a policy then cancelled it the next day as got a cheaper quote elsewhere. Virgin had already taken 2 lots of direct debit payments by this time (one in error!) and 5 weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund. £140 down and still waiting. Terrible!

Do Not Ever Have An Accident! And Do Not Claim Fro

Do Not Ever Have An Accident! And Do Not Claim From Virgin Insurance! AVOID this company! VW recommended garage were aweful, Virgin Engineer (joke) Aweful, Enterprise Rent A Car (all Virgin services) Aweful and all suffer from a lack of people skills and customer service. I am made out to feel like a criminal, I am having to fight to get my car repaired just under 4 months since a young girl decided she wanted to drive into my car. I had to pay for part repair of my car on fully comprehensive insurance because the engineer deemed the damage could never have happened during the accident (he was never there) and I have a witness to the damage. But no that does not count! Car has a dangerous steering issue from the accident which after 25 plus phone calls, reports and 20 pages of permanent notes is still un repaired. I wish I had the money to take it to a garage to be fixed! In between a rock and a hard place. Looking to cancel policy asap, will never buy a VW and never renting from Enterprise, I would rather walk than use any of the companies mentioned!

BADREVIEW

Spelt Awful wrong! 3.37am rant becuase this situation is keeping me up and stressing at night. Feel for everyone out there going through BS like this. This rant I suppose wont help because I guess all companies are the same.

Road Wars, a teenager steals a car, speeds, crashes stolen car and gets £80 and 12 month suspended sentence? Virgin have already had £180 out of me from the crash which was not my fault. Maybe I should borrow some cars from VW compound (they were supposed to have repaired my car)!

Speaking To The Virgin Guys It Seems That Virgin A

Speaking to the virgin guys it seems that virgin are no longer taking new car insurance customers. The company has been sold but it seems that the changeover is not quite a smooth as you would hope. My renewal quote almost doubled, so as you can imagine, I am leaving.

No Wonder Richard Brandson Is So Rich - Had To Pay

no wonder Richard brandson is so rich - had to pay 20 odd pounds just to cancel and 17 pounds for something else! 24 pounds just to cancel! outrageous after no claims after almost two years! I also put my insurance on standby when I was cycling and they took my money but charged me to do it and to start again! The customer service agent advised me to do this - no doubt knowing of all the deceptive hidden costs involved - pretending that it was just so much easier for me to do this!

Never again!

I Have Been Insured With Virgin From 2009 And Paid

I have been insured with Virgin from 2009 and paid £418 fully comp cover for a VW Golf 1.6, 1998. My renewal is due on the 31st of Jan and to my shocking horror the premium for renewal has gone up to £1,300. When I called customer services to ask why my insurance had gone up by that much, the explanation was that insurance cover has gone up everywhere. I'm 35 and have had my license since 1993 with no claims. Frankly I was shocked and cancelled my automatic renewal straight away!
