Stranded At The Airport
In September I booked a car through CarJet and paid £410 in advance. The rental was due to begin on January 14th at Liverpool Airport. We received a reminder and pickup instructions from CarJet the day before.
On arrival at the airport we followed the instructions and contacted the company, Green Motion, to send the shuttle bus. We were told that the company had been taken over and they could not fulfil our booking - even though we had already paid. They told us we would need to go through CarJet as we had reserved the car through them.
We were stranded at Liverpool Airport on a dark rainy evening with 2 suitcases and rucksacks with no way to get to our destination in Formby. We are both in our 60’s and quite distressed as well as angry. We had to catch a bus, two trains and a taxi.
The next day I contacted CarJet by email as well couldn’t find a phone contact number that worked. The response was unsatisfactory, merely asking for the phone log to prove we had called!
Two weeks later the matter is till unresolved and the contact from CarJet has been minimal. CarJet still has our £410 and I can’t see why it should take them so long to refund it. I can only say that I will never use them again and will warn others against doing so. We have learnt the hard way.

All I Can Say Is Stay Away From This Company
What can I say stay away you think your getting a deal till you turn up to hire company and relise there is estra charges that are not mentioned in the rental and end up paying more that the rental was .. I refused to tap my credit card for 1300 pounds excess in case of accident when I had already paid an extra 75 pound on the hire to bring the excess down .. incase of accident and in turn was denied my rental and destroyed my holiday had to eventual re book with another rental company at a cost of £164.00 for a two day hire .. and customer service is just as bad .. joke of a company, don’t book with them.

This Carjet company take your money and then do not provide a vehicle.
You cannot contact them to file a complaint.
We were left stranded at Belfast International airport by Carjet without our prepaid transport being available or anyone to contact.
DO NOT USE THEM!!

Carjet & Green Motion - Simply Awful
Turned up to secure a car at Stansted airport booked via Car Jet, we were unable to secure the car from Green Motion as we were not prepared to accept the repayment of a £1,500 deposit after 5 weeks, we declined the car and requested refund. We were directed back to Car Jet who have refused to accept any responsibility…the issue is ongoing – do not use either business.

If I Could Give Them Zero Stars, I Would!
If I could give them zero stars, I would. CarJet is a joke. Do not touch them! I booked a car and travelled by coach to Heathrow from Oxford to collect it from Drivalia, only to be told that they didn't have a car for me. Drivalia has a 1 hour courtesy window, from the arranged time of collection, but CarJet's terms and conditions have a 4 hour window. Even though I called Drivalia to tell them I was on my way they did nothing and even said that all cars that day had been cancelled as they had no cars left. I had to arrange coach travel for my onward journey. CarJet refused to refund the money for the booking and would not accept any evidence I could provide them (phone logs, their own recorded telephone conversations, messages to friends at the time, coach tickets etc), and essentially called me a liar and implied that I never turned up to collect the car. Absolute joke. Never again.

Hi. I rent a car through this website. Price was ok. I got full cover. The renting company charge me 50Eur 32 days later for bringing the car dirty from outside. Which doesn’t make sense. But I had full cover I didn’t really care. I send few emails to CarJet claiming the money back but they ignore it. Definitely don’t buy cover through the CarJet. Waste of money.

I Am Disgusted With Carjet And Their partners Excl
I am disgusted with Carjet and their partners Exclusive Rent A Car Dubrovnik. Our flight was cancelled through no fault of our own and we were rebooked on the next available flight the following day. I contacted Carjet and Exclusive Rent a car to advise them of the delay and request that they hold the car.
I also sent a request to Carjet to modify the booking on 02/03/24 as soon as we found out our flight was cancelled. Despite this, when we arrived at Dubrovnik we we told that the booking was cancelled and they did not have a car for us. We had to source a vehicle elsewhere at considerable stress and additional expense (1200 Euros). As a final insult, Carjet have kept our 100 Euro deposit and they make it impossible to contact them; there no email address, no way to make a complaint and they do not answer the phone.
This experience has been costly and very distressing for me and my family. Avoid them.

This company sucks...booked and paid for a car online with green motion through CarJet...didn't get the car because of my foreign license, despite CarJet telling me all would be good..was left high and dry somewhere near Heathrow..they haven't refunded my money....don't use these guys

Carjet Has Worst Service Ever, Never Again!
You get what you pay for and soon as something don't work out you can't get any support. The call center is not available for 20-30 min and then a call center employee is just lying to you over the phone. We didn't get our car at Riga Airport and carjet.com call center employee told me we would get our reservation money back because they didn't inform us beforehand that the car was only reserved for 1 hour, but we didn't get any refund or support from carjet.com. As customer this is really sad.

Very Disappointed
I booked a vehicle (international) using carjet, the vendor 724Rent in Turkey took a deposit of 1000 euros, and didn't return it back even vehicle was returned on time , no accident and was accepted by their staff.
I've reached to both carjet and 724Rent , both have not replied and disappointed me. Please avoid these shady businesses.
