Very Silent Powerful, But A Little Heavy

Excalibur exomax si a very silent and powerful crossbow, but it is a little heavy. Overall I'm very pleased of this crossbow.

Exomax

The exomax is the baddest crossbow out there I have killed several white tails with mine anywhere from 10 to50 yards deadly accurate I always get a clean pass through. If I had any complain I wish it where a little lighter. But it is built like a tank. I dropped mine 30 ft out of a tree stand went and picked it up and shot it still dead on!! Very durable crossbow.

Nice Bow But...

very loud compared to the new compound xbows on the market, It also does not have the speed for the draw weight of the new bows. I will give it this.. they are very light so if you need a light crossbow and don't like compound xbows then maybe this is for you. As for the price WAY out of sight I mean come on this bow should be sold for $300.00US then it would be a good deal. not happy with my purchase and returned it to the shop and got me a Barnett on the way. They seem to be taking over the crossbow industry in leaps.

You are obviously a half wit!!

What a shame, you could have got the same, if not better performance for less than half the cost with the Chace Star 225 lbs crossbow. Read The review, it will shock you.

Anybody Who Doesn't Rate This Crossbow High, Obvio

Anybody who doesn't rate this crossbow high, obviously doesn't know how to hunt with a bow or crossbow. If bow has problems I'm sure that it would be covered in it's warranty. I can't wait to use this on the local big Canadian deer.

The sheer size and very large limb width, make it very difficult to walk with and almost impossible to fire from behind a 'blind'.

Not a very practical hunting tool.

MountainMan4444

it is a good bow, a lot of people are switching oto compound xbows because of their added power and speed with the cams. just IMO if your out for deer this bow will suit ya just fine!

This Excalibur Exomax Is A Great Crossbow, If Some

this Excalibur Exomax is a great crossbow, if someone differs then they haven't done to much bow or crossbow hunting. this machine hits fast and hard

Yes, I have a comment. As a well experienced crossbow shooter. The Excalibur is a monster crossbow (too big for most women and many men) true enough, but mainly a status symbol. The Chace Star is faster and more powerful, with excellent build quality and 'Robin Hood' accuracy out to and beyond 100 yards delivering over 94 ft/lbs kinetic energy. The Excalibur is over £600 and the Chace Star is only £280. Do the maths, shoot them both and realize that you've just spent way too much (not very good value for money at all, about 1 star). Wait till you need spares, they are very expensive too (hope your well off).

Good luck with crossbow and I wish you well with it.

Incredible Hunting Machine. I Have Shot Plenty. Al

Incredible hunting machine. I have shot plenty. All shots are clean through. The farthest was 65 yards. I had practiced extensively at various distances from 20 to 75 yards and I know exactly where it shoots. In the scope there is a 50 yard arrow and I held it flush with the top of the target. I pulled the trigger and the arrow went clean through.

Read the review on the Chace Star 2008 crossbow and realize that the exact same performance and build quality comes at nearly 1/3 the cost of the Exomax. Still if you need a status symbol and money to throw away?

This Bow Sucks, The Only Good Point About The Exca

This bow sucks, the only good point about the Excalibur Exomax Crossbox is that its cheap. to be honest its too big and ive found that its broken on me quite a lot.

I owned one.they suck.there loud and bulky.accuracy was mediocre.seems like they have a cult following.the recurve technology is centurys old.try cocking one in a stand.there like 5 feet lonk and 4 feet accross in the front.sucks to tow one with a climber.sold mine and got a scorpyd vent.scorpyd flat out owns excalibers

lrajfeld

If you like the big, heavy, ridiculously powerful recurve crossbow, you get even better at less than $400 for the complete Kit (not just the basic bow), from Chace Star 2008 crossbow (if your not a Chinese Manufacturer hater). Their build quality is equal and performance beyond the overpriced Excal. On American Forums you'll witness open prejudice to Chinese Manufacturers.

chevyman1

first of all there not cheap there $700.00 just for the bow you nut and sec of all ive been on every web site looking at reviews about the exomax and every person gave it a ten your the first person i ever herd bad things said about the bow i think your a little off lol

For us interested in buying a crossbow could you be more specific. What broke in detail. Limbs? trigger mechanism?
