Anyone Who Has Ever Owned A Samick Bow Will Probab
Anyone who has ever owned a Samick bow will probably know how under-rated they are. The Outlander is no exception, an extremely fast and hard hitting bow. It has the smoothest draw I have known for a flat bow. The one I use is the 55# model. Had I acquired this first I don't think I would have ever bought another. It's also a very fogiving bow at home with either wooden or carbon arrows.
My preference for arrows are Grizzlystik Sitka, from Alaska Bowhunting Supply, they fly like darts from the Outlander which I also find to be quite a light bow, the only drawback is the leather grip which tends to twist in the bow hand. A small blob of fletching glue soon puts that right.
It has a very fine cut shelf and small window, an advantage I find so there is less of a distraction in your field of view; which makes this one of the most accurate bows I own.
The outlander is an excellent field bow for club shoots or open field shoots. String silencers are necessary to reduce vibration, however, I find the woolley ones work the best and these make the release almost silent. All in all, probably the best bow you will own.
