This Is An Excellent Horn With 2 Separate Leadpip

This is an excellent horn with 2 separate leadpipes for A and Bb, and a 3rd valve slide. The missing pinkie hook really wasn't that important to me but is an easy fix at any shop. For $1900.00 shipped to my door I couldn't beat the quality and sweet intonation that this horn has especially on the A side! This horn is also a very free blowing horn in all ranges and has a very even feel in the upper register. All in all an excellent horn for the price. If you want the Schilke but really can't afford it get the Kanstul 920 Custom Class. It won't let you down!

Here's The Fine Point, If Your Are Serious About G

Here's the fine point, if your are serious about getting a piccolo trumpet, if this is your first piccolo trumpet, or you are budget-minded, then this is THE horn for you. While other horns have more prestige, (and higher price!) the Kanstul line is the only viable alternative to waiting, or paying more, and it's reputation is quickly gaining in prestige. Horn players know the good horns, and Kanstul has a stellar reputation.

The Kanstul Cct 920 Is The Best Value In Pic Trump

The Kanstul CCT 920 is the best value in pic trumpets that I'm aware of. Using the Schilke P54 as the reference standard, the Kanstul matches up well in many respects. In fact, I think it's the best imitation in the under $2000 market. I don't think the Schilke's intonation is any better, but the Schilke has many excellent qualities that are difficult to quantify: It's soft and pleasant feel as you hold and play it are unmatched. Perhaps this feeling of wellness translates to better playing; I really don't know. Anyways the Schilke only comes with one keyed pipe and costs $1200 more than the Kanstul.

Kanstul's under $2000 market competitors are from Stomvi, Yamaha, B&S and Getzen. After trying all those, I believe the Kanstul best imitates the Schilke.
