Manager Is Rude To Staff
Having been a customer for a number of years I find it hard to write this review.. I love everything about the brand and was thrilled when he took over it compensated for
Losing the lovely Royston.
But the salon manger is on a power trip the way I heard her speak to staff was a disgrace.
This negative comment is nothing to do with the service I received but more the current atmosphere and the way staff are treated.
Please please sort it out.. I know you will make a success of it having watched you grow for a number of years
Please retain your amazing staff you will need them to
Help you on your journey.

Hospitality
Hi there been to the salon today had a fantastic hair dressers, he was amazing attended to my requirements and needs gave me a very good cut and re style, only thing that could of been better is for some of the other female staff to smile some of them looked so miserable and fed up,I did ask for a glass of water from one of the girls who washed my hair but never got it.But over all experience was very good.

Bad
The girl that did my hair has now what she did I was not happy with. The sides of my hair were down to my shoulder and I asked for my face to be framed she cut them between my cheek and jawline but did not join them up properly and on the right side she took it to far back( i did have a middle parting). So it looks like I have a fringe growing out. The back of my hair was terrible she had cut layers into it.
I did go back and Roysten put it right but I'm having to wear it on the side as it does still not look right when straight (what the girl did)
Update on my hair so today 2/3/22 I want to a different hairdressers as I still was not happy with my hair.
When a client says don't cut it like your razoring it please listen I did say my hair never sits right when cut that way. I have wasted money time and energy coming to this salon, and I had to pay out again for a different salon to put my hair right. In all Royston Blythe took at least 6 inches from my hair at the back the sides did not fall right. I am not wearing a fringe luckly it looks great. I won't be coming to this salon again and I give it 1 star.

Wedding Hair Disaster
I had been a client at Royston Blythe for a long time and trusted my stylist who I can’t fault for her cutting and styling skills. However, when it came to my hair for my wedding day, the salon was very rude, rushed and did the opposite of what I had requested leaving me feeling very stressed and upset. There was no special treatment as a bride, no offer of a drink or being made to feel special despite being asked to be there early before salon opening. I did book a trial before the day which was completed very quickly in a half hearted manner leaving me hoping that it would ‘be alright on the night.’ I understand that miscommunication can happen with what style is wanted but it was the way I was treated that particularly bothered me. The stylist shouted at me when I explained that it wasn’t quite what I had in mind and by this point I was already upset - so much so that one of the salon owners had to come over to try to sort it out as it was obvious I was distressed. There was no offer of it being re done or reassurance that I wouldn’t leave until I was happy with it, I was basically shipped out when my time was up still feeling upset and not liking a hair do which was for my wedding day and had cost a lot of money when the two appointments, and hair extensions that I’d purchased through the salon for it, were taken into account.
My mum, who had also been a client of one of the salon owners for over 20 years and had also had a trial, had a bad experience on the wedding morning as well. Despite having a trial with the owner (her usual stylist) and being told to be there for 8:30, he didn’t arrive until much later and seemed to have no recollection of why she was there or what they had agreed on.
A really disappointing experience which is probably summed up by the salon trying to see too many people in too little time. I haven’t been back since.

Worst Haircut Ever !
Worst haircut! It was very rushed and no attention to detail at all and couldn't get me out quick enough. As a new client I was totally shocked and very upset sides of hair were hacked and other sections not touched at all. I had to hv another cut elsewhere. Salon and staff were very helpful and polite but unfortunately would never return or ever recommend.

Terrible
I was left combing my own hair as the hairdressers had tangled it so bad I was left in tears. I had to go home and re-wash the products our of my hair.
Wash And Finish?.... No Wash
Booked in for a blow dry for a night out at the Wolverhampton salon. I had the worst wash I think I have ever had at a hairdressers.... I have long hair and shampoo was literally slapped on and the sides of my head had a little rub. The rest of my scalp was left untouched and for some reason the ends off hair got more attention! No need to wash the ends!!! The scalp is where you need to concentrate!!! Basic common sense.
My blow dry was great. I asked for volume and she did what I asked. But hence to say my hair was flat the next day because it hadn't been washed properly.
I feel aggrieved as I paid £30 for this. Iit has a great reputation as acelebrity salon and you do expect high standards. I did not receive this. First class salon but not first class standards. Think they need to review this.

Love This Place! Will Never Go Anywhere Else Again
A little nervous about visiting this salon but my friends had told me how much I would love it and my only regret is not going sooner. I had a good chat with the hairdresser and colourist before they started and they really advised me on what would suit my skin tone and helped me decide on a cut that would suit my faceshape. I felt really relaxed from the beginning and whilst the salon was buzzing and really busy everybody still took great care of each of their customers offering drinks, chatting away with a lovely, unassuming approach. For the first time in many years I left hairdressers feeling fabulous, with amazing hair that has never looked so good and I actually rebooked while I was there! Totally recommend!
Poor Management
I was in the salon as a model on training night and there appeared to be an issue with a member of staff, the owner totally humiliated the member of staff on the salon floor in front of other members of staff and their models, he was also extremely rude about the model.
The man portrayed himself as a bully and obviously has no people management skills.
