Yuck: Transun Will Take Your Money, Disappoint, And Not Care
I've never experienced anything organised worse than this, it was terrible. Everything was difficult, mis-organised and mis-advertised. Transun couldn't have cared less, for every little thing (no organisation, mistakes, changes, delays, missed meals, untrained reps - through all this no communication) they just passed off any responsibility.
Blatant lies too - tours on the website weren't offered and we weren't told till we'd paid for the trip and it was too late. I did the igloo interlude which says "with all the comforts of a warm cabin" and "your very own ice and snow house deep in the wilderness" - laughable! It was an igloo in a built up carpark, with a horrid, smelly, dirty warm room!
SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. I wish I'd listened to all the other bad reviews.
Transun Was Terrible. Never Again!
With regards to our Festive Lights Transun tour, the phrase "Couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery," comes to mind. I could give numerous examples, but I think the fact that we were given a (poorly written) itinerary of our activities AFTER all 3 major activities had already been run provides a nice summary of how Transun operates. Due to this, our group missed the snowmobile tour despite being a captive audience on multiple buses in which the staff could have communicated the upcoming activities to us. When we voiced our concerns about not knowing where we needed to be & when, we were simply told that they had never operated two different tours at the same time. Basically, the 50ish people on the festive lights tour did not have a staff member designated to them & the Santa tour was priority. I will never recommend Transun as a tour company and this was the general consensus with other festive lights tour participants.

This Was To Be An Experience For Myself And A Clos
This was to be an experience for myself and a close friend costing £2000 for 4 days Transun failed to deliver.
I was promised two days spending the majority of the day with the dogs, including several hours traveling to a wilderness cabin. This didn't happen.
Transun appeared to have over booked and telephoned a small family business to look after our needs, but they were unprepared and asked us what we would like to do. By this time it was so late in the day they could only offer a one hour experience instead of the scheduled two days. Although an attempt was made to reconcile the situation by substituting a reindeer trip, it turned out not to last more than a lap and not more than 2 minutes. Finally the snowmobile experience did last for a trip of 60km but agin this was only by a chance as heavy snow had fallen the night before and the company needed to go out to clear tracks for the dogs that another company was using.
