Carrera Luna

Living on the coast, salt air salt water, wind, soon wrecks budget bikes,, bikes in general with steel frames and cheap components so i searched for an aluminium bike for my seven year old daughter, it had to have ally wheels stainless spokes and decent components,two bikes came up, one was £200 pluss, the other a carrera luna,for £149 after a good look i got it my daughter for her birthday,, all the components are good quality really easy to pull v brakes, ally peddlesand a propper head set quick release ally seatpost and great suspension that actually works under a childs weight,i know this bike will grow with my daughter as it is so well made,the only gripe is the seven speed gripshift gears are hard for her to change,,, but thats common with all small hands and junior bikes, and she,s happy with it in second gear,,apart from that,, its probably the best made junior aluminium bikes out there,,, i worked in cycle shops for six years during my 20,s so i know a little about bikes,
