Silver Fox SFX01

A great bike for the price, but you have to have some technical knowledge to assemble.

I have spent hours tweaking gears and removing bits that have been assembled poorly during manufacture, but have ended up with a decent bike that has done hundred of miles on road and light off road.

The components used on the bike are of good quality but build quality is poor thus the need for technical knowledge.

another slight negative is the design of the bike, which doesn't feel as solid as a more premium product, but for the price you just cant argue.

I own a silverfox sfx 01, and i have to say the bike as good as fell apart whilst i was doing a hard sesh on Cannock chase, as a commuter bike you cant go wrong, but for an off-road bike it is just pathetic.

suspension = constant bottom out

gears = you could get better made from wood!

frame = like riding an elephant

do not buy this bike, buy a muddyfox boomslang instead

does anyone no where you can buy a new front and rear brake cable from especially for this model

not a bad bike overall, when u do hard mountain biking it gets a bit useless, the front suspension really does nothing for the ride quality, so i have now had to buy a hardtail to suit my needs, if you just want to do short journeys to the shop though or if it is for a young child it is ideal. It could do with having a rear disk break though as the v-types on this are useless.

This manufacturer produces dangerous and life threatening Bikes and no-one should buy. They caused my son to have a near fatal road crash. their Biukes are simply dangerous!

okay for a kid and to just ride on roads but if you do anything rough on it, this Silver Fox will just break, and the suspensions rubbish.

i have this Silver Fox SFX01 bike it is amazing for the price. i have fell off it many times quite badly and has hardly got a scratch on it. the only thing is that the suspension is really and does not tighten up well. dunno if it is all of them or just mine.

The Silver Fox SFX01 is very good and overall the bike is steady, light and a nice bike for general needs. The design is well built and overall is proportionate.

The Silver Fox SFX01 is a great bike. Strong Frame, Strong brakes,Value for money, Works in every weather condition. Drive chain can lock up if knocked

Not impressed overall with the Silver Fox SFX01, spent more time to get the bike to feel right, but no joy
