Hunter Max 175

My bow blew apart on me and I sent it back in January 2013. They said they would repair it under recall and send it back to me. Its been almost six months and I have sent emails to them in the last 2 months inquiring about my bow. I have spent hours on hold be cause the recording said I was the third person in line to be waited on. I think the others were on hold also and just hung up as I did after 2 hours and 45 minutes. Does any one know what is going on? I may be going to Ohio soon if I do not hear from them.

I also am having this problem with Horton. Sent my hunter jd 175 in also in Jan of this year. Have talked to them several times inquiring on my bow. Every time I talk to them they say their supplier has pushed back the shippment date on replacement limbs. I told them how redicilous the run around I'm getting from them is. They agreed. I also stressed that this is bad buissness..and if I have to send my bow in again they will be losing a customer. They are now telling me that the limbs should be here the first week of June. Guess what its June. And in a week or so, I will be calling again. Your not alone on this....

I Had A Limb Crack On My Horton Hunter Hd 175 I Bo

I had a limb crack on my Horton Hunter HD 175 I bought new on eBay, Horton refused to warranty it. This is a high end Horton bow that is one year old. Horton didn't return calls or emails then told me to send it in only to send it back in pieces, I was out the bow, shipping charges and lost my whole season over it. Don't be tempted, there are better bow companies out there, do some research and you will find that Ten Point and excaliber have the best reviews.

I purchased one of these back in 2005. And for the money, it is a good value, and excellent crossbow. But. After about a dozen or so shots to sight in, my limb pockets also developed cracks. Many cracks plural, not singular. Sent bow back for warranty work. Horton has great customer service, but again the pockets developed cracks after a dozen or so shots. Great bow but the constant cracking of the limb pockets makes for 2 stars instead of 5.

This Is My First Crossbow. I Purchased A Horton B

This is my first crossbow. I purchased a Horton based on their reputation for quality. Unfortunately either their quality went down or I got a bum bow. The reticles on the red dot scope were not vertical, the first shot the tip came out of the bolt, and after less than 10 shots it developed a crack in the limb pocket. Also compared to my vertical compound bow it's extremely loud.

The Horton Hunter Max 175 Is A Solid Performer, La

The Horton Hunter Max 175 is a solid performer, lacks some finer detail in such models as 10 point, but a good value and a straight shooter.
