Parkdean, Mullion, The Lizard

been going here for 3 years,the first year we didn't get into the van until 5.20pm the boiler was broke,also maintenance turned up to change our carpet,sat down to eat at 8.30pm .the 2nd year the boiler broke again had no hot water for 2 days,they gave us keys to another van so we could shower etc,that van had the water disconnected so couldn't use it,the next day they moved us into a chalet that was,dirty,mouldy and in poor condition,complained many times manager was very nice but close to useless ,they gave me a free upgrade for this year into a trelan caravan,that had changed before our arrival and they gave us a rio caravan,it was clean and tidy but not what we were expecting,will not be going back to this park .also there is no where to park if it rains heavily as the grass has no drainage and becomes very bogey

Disappointed we were so far from the beach. Staff very friendly, caravan ok..Food expensive and not worth the price, i had the curry rice and naan bread, which was very small portion, the rice was boiled in the bag rice.site and entertainment ok..next year riviera sands hayle for us.

This was our first time at a parkdean camp and we were a little

worried as we have over the last ten years only ever gone to

haven and butlins but have found that both of these have

never been clean and my daughter has always been poorly

because of dirty water and just the overall cleanliness,but

parkdean was beautiful we went on a sun holidays promotion

first time and did expect something to be wrong,but we were

put in a bungalow which was spotless and the staff were

very pleasant and very helpful.We will most defiantly be going

back in the future.

We were worried, having read some negative reports from the website but we were happily reassured. Reception staff were informative and our chalet turned out to be just fine. It was clean and the neighbours were thankfully very quiet. The chalet we had, although basic, was not disappointing. We would come back again and would be happy to reommend a stay.

We went 2 years ago to this site with family and friends and we found it great fun for all ages. the food was amazing and the entertainers were brilliant! there was alot to do and i found it great.

This year we are going back with different people and we have booked the £1000 2011 caravan and we are looking forward to going back in 11 days time!Cant wait to enjoy the entertainment once again and the Caravans are always clean and a lovely size!

I booked a caravan for myself, partner, daughter, son-in-law, son and my two small grandchildren for last week. I paid almost £500 including insurance to stay in a Penzance caravan. Me and my partner could not get down until Sunday and my daughter and the rest of the family arrived on the Saturday. The caravan had not been cleaned - the place stank of smoke (still on the sunday when we arrived) the furnishing was ripped, windows were filthy and mouldy,the toilet and sinks had not been cleaned nor the floors and a lot of the furnishing was broke! I went to reception on the sunday and was told the housekeeping manager would come to inspect the property. She arrived when I was out and my daughter showed her the state of the caravan - she didn't seem that bothered and just replaced a table which my grandson had hurt himself on.

I have been saving for almost a year for this holiday and expected a clean caravan at least. The actual site itself wasn't to bad it was just the fact that we had expected a nice clean caravan to live in for a week - not much to ask is it?! - I could have rented a lovely cottage for the same price!!

Amazing!we went here last may and as soon as we arrived we thought"wow this is amazing it will be a perfect holiday". We went to reception and they were helpful and told us exactly how to get to our bungalow.our first impressions were great everything was perfect the only thing we did not like was how dirty the carpet was.The evening entertainment was great and me and my sister danced with sid and lizzie everynight.there was just one problem,when we booked we did not recieve a conformation and we wondered if our holiday had been booked or not.The swimming pools were lovely and we went in them every single day.parkdean are worth the money!go there now.

We have just got back from a weekend at mullion holiday park, and after reading some of the reviews on here before going, we were a bit worried! but it was absolutley fantastic! The accomodation (bungalow) was great and nice and clean. The kids entertainment was brilliant, and my kids absolutley adored sid and lizzie! we will go back there again for sure!

we have just had a fantastic holiday at mullion. accomidation was fantastic. we will recommend it to our friends. we are booking another hoilday ther in the summer.

We arrived to find the reception staff friendly and helpful and the directions to the caravan easy to follow. We found the caravan itself spotlessly clean and modern the kitchen had everything we could possibly need, yes the bedrooms and beds were a little small but we expected that in the basic caravan.

The children's play park was fantastic and suited my son (5) perfectly, the indoor play area was a bonus and he loved it in there too. The swimming pool was always clean and warm. The on sight shop was a little expensive however mullion is only 5 minutes away and has a boots and londis, Sainsbury's in Helston is slightly further away.

The children's entertainment was generally good, we Pre booked the breakfast option which was worth the money if you can eat a cooked breakfast toast and cereal every morning.

All in all a fantastic week, good value for money holiday in a clean well maintained caravan in a holiday park with plenty for the kids to do.
